This board is dead and yet in 36 hours, we'll have 20 or so new Tigers. Maybe it's just an uneventful recruiting year. The only drama seems to be whether Sopsher is a leader or a follower.

I don’t come here for drama, or an adrenaline rush. I come to celebrate the signing of future Tigers.

There will still be some intrigue on NSD.

Can’t down vote you enough for this thread.
You have the bulk of your class commited early.

Actually the early signing date is supposed to do exactly that: remove a lot of the drama. It’s a good thing.

Yew shut your mouth. Yew.

Personally, they should do away with the second one and just let kids start signing as of Wed all the way up to registration.

Let the ones that want on board do so early to secure their spots and let the rest of the chips fall as they might.

Sopsher is the only realistic 5* we have left that we can get.

We’ve already locked up our three 5 stars. I’m happy about no drama there

I like it much better. Know who the truly committed kids are. Teams will move to solidify early and some of the "stars" will find themselves fighting for a few positions and it won't be so fun anymore.

I would say it was the BRPD and the 50 DUI’s they handed out following the Bash a few years ago.

I agree. It's absolutely taken the air out of the recruiting bash etc. It's not as fun as it used to be.

"Early" signing day is the new "NSD" and the traditional NSD is relegated to an afterthought now.

Personally, I like the February NSD -- but I really don't get all that jazzed either way... some coaches say the earlier signing day helps them, because the know where the stand and what (if any) spots and players are still available --- also they get started on the NEXT signing class much sooner.

I'm a fan, not a coach... so it's whichever day it is --- it's nice to read about the players we sign... but not a day I look forward to all year and build my schedule around.
