All I know about that situation is he and smith are very good friends and I like our position with smith. I sure as hell hope so, but I haven’t been able to get something even semi solid on that front in weeks. Although it’s never a bad thing when he pays his own way to your campus when your future qb asks him to come down for a weekend....

Hopefully they commit soon. Not a fan of the "silent" stuff but I'm glad to have good news. Just wish some of these 5 star talents would jump on board and continue to try to recruit others to LSU.

But Rouge is right! You obviously have connections most people who read this board for LSU Football news knows your screen name and that you have connections. So saying something is definite prior to the recruit announcing is wrong.
You could easily say, “I am hearing the coaches are confident on signing Leigh” or something along those lines!
