He will get an offer at LSU camp this summer unless he performs really poorly

The guy is special.

Also, INB4: brings his lunch pail to work, student of the game, strong motor, etc.

He will get better offers once he starts camping this summer
Mostly instate offers right now
Will have to see with LSU, LSU has some higher on their board as of now but things change.

Is he strictly offense? Thought I read potential safety at next level somewhere

Also what’s the scoop on Keon Coleman? Kid looks like a monster. Why no big offers?

Maybe. There's a lot of guys on our board and only so many spots. I do like him a lot. Not ready to go to Clean's level of fandom yet but I see what Clean loves about him

Keon Coleman

Being at a 1A school probably is a factor

Plus, was considered more of a hoops prospect until recently

His 247 ranking is ridiculously low

At the 7 on 7 recently the write up on him was basically, didn't really get much separation but still caught everything thrown his way including making a few ridiculous catches.

Might be like a bigger Jarvis Landry.

Looks physical with good body control and hands. However he never seems to have much separation. If he isn't leaving guys in high school he probably isn't going to in college. I'll be interested to see how he does at camps against better competition and also what his 40 and shuttle is. In a deep WR class I don't see LSU going after him all that hard unless they miss on a lot of guys. (Hilton, Thomas, Pazon in state for sure plus a couple others in state and several out of state). Just my opinion and nothing against the guy.

If y’all get Bech and Walker Howard, I’m jumping on the LSU bandwagon.

Possibly not even Karr’s best WR

The 2022 WR may be better

Speed kills though. The higher the level the more it matters.

There’s a lot more to consider than somebody’s 40 time

Read this link below and get back to me

BTW, Malachi Dupre was 6-3 with a vertical of well over 40-inches. Didn’t translate to much, did it?

Agreed. But it's a lot easier to coach hands, body control, route running, high pointing a ball, physicality at the line and all those things than it is speed. But I can promise you speed is the first thing a coach is gonna look for in a WR. (Not only thing but first thing) Again it's just my opinion. I have nothing against the guy and if he does end up at LSU I'll be happy for him and cheer for him just the same as I do Ja'Marr Chase. I just don't see him being in LSU top 15 WR targets based on his film.

Agree to disagree then

I’ve had the benefit of covering 4 St Thomas More games last year.

The guy is better than these combine wonders

Those are all guys who made money based solely off their speed. Most of those guys remained in the NFL only because they are fast. Which if anything confirms my point that teams are much more willing to take guys if they are fast. Also most of these guys excelled in college because of their speed (check out Tavon Austin college highlights). But again the fact that these guys made careers off of only being fast proves that it is a lot easier to coach the other aspects of being a WR. For every example of a speedy guy "failing" in the NFL there is 100 guys who were good route runners or physical at the line guys that weren't fast enough to make it. I'm not hating on your guy and he looks like a great high school WR.

Best of luck to your guy. I hope he becomes an All-American and 1st round pick at LSU!
