I don't think we have to worry about Narcisse leaving. He's going to be battling for a starting QB spot. Now after next season, maybe.

Any truth to the speculation that Pooka won’t qualify and may be headed to JUCO first? At least we aren’t putting all our eggs in that basket in case he doesn’t end up here

I've heard that contrary to popular belief his ACT still isn't high enough. Can't confirm that 100% though.

Sonny & Shea average about 83%.

Does Spiegelman put in a lot of CB for other team's recruits? Because Sonny and Shea do.

Also, CB accuracy can be extremely misleading. IF you only put in picks for locks, your rating will be pretty good.

If we get no QB we should be “ok”. I kind of view Narcisse as the QB we could have for this class since he redshirted.

I think , excluding "athletes" and transfers our Offensive signees will come from this master list (some are REAL stretches so don't lecture):

QB: Justin Rogers, or James Foster or Garry Bohannon or Matthew Baldwin (Need One).

Running Back: Chris Curry and Tae Provens or Harold Joiner, Pooka Williams, AJ Carter, Fabian Franklin, Troy St Julien. (Need two but I'd take four if Pooka is eligible and Joiner wants in).

Wide Receiver: Terrace Marshall, Jr. and Kenan Jones and Jaray Jenkins or Justin Watkins, or Jamarr Chase or Lawrence Keys or Devonta Jason. (Need four and any combination that includes Marshall is good with me).

Tight End: Zach Shaffer and Glenn Beal (OL conversion?)

OL: Cameron Wire and Badora Traore, Damien Lewis, Cole Smith , Dare Rosenthal (conversion?) Dylan Wonnum (my wildcard).

Athlete: Provens, Watkins, Williams and even Goodrich (I see him as a corner) can be utilized in Canada offense and the return game. All four might be a bit redundant.

McMillan yeah, but I can't see LSU letting a talented kid like Narcisse bolt, Auburn coach Gus Malzahn would be really too happy to have him. But as for my two cents on Joiner, Joiner is really high on LSU and I think they can still reel him in on Dec 20th, that's when I expect him to pop. Alabama or Saban I should say has interest in him now as a RB only because he has lost out on some top RB's that he was after awhile back.

Pooka is a talented lil RB, but I don't expect him to see the field for LSU if he commits to LSU until he gains at least 30 pounds, kid is really small. I say kid, but he looks 32 in that pic. Lmao

I’m seeing pooka and Provens as similar players.

Both are slighter, quick guys that can play rb or split wide as a wr. Both are dynamic.

I think I’d prefer one of either Pooka or Provens to go along with the man beast Joiner. He’s a big ol back that runs like a gazelle with those long legs. He seems like a rare talent.

Curry doesn’t have the size of Joiner or the scatty quickness of Pooka or Provens but he’s a consistent, every down RB.

Pooka and Provens have the ability to play all over the field though. Carry, catch out of backfield, or split wide.

Watkins too and I said that in another post I made the other day. People on here list Watkins as a WR, but he's really an all purpose back like them. Go and watch his hudl highlights.

Spiegs covers mostly Louisiana recruits, so those are the guys he mainly puts CB picks on. Some aren't picked for LSU.

Never understood the hate for Spiegs. I can understand maybe disliking how he comes across in his articles and podcast but he's the guy that produces the most LSU recruiting content. He gets the most interviews and actually goes to see the prospects for some of those.

Good point.

Nevertheless, when Spiegel does make a prediction, he’s right 93% of the time.

I agree. Props to Speigs. Free content and a lot of it.

He also shuffles cb’s weekly. He predicts something as soon as there is momentum in hopes of being the first to get it right then flips it elsewhere once the momentum is gone

Sounds like you need to really follow his predictions.

Recruiting is fluid, after all.

I am not the biggest fan of his either, but there has been nothing from any LSU source to say that LSU has a good chance of landing a QB, so I don't see why Speigleman saying LSU has a 50% chance of no QB thats suddently a #hottaek just because it came from Spiegelman.

Completely agree with you. You can't expect both Brennan or Narcisse to still be here after this year, you have to have a QB in every single class. Other teams seems to have no problem getting good QB's every class. It's time we start that trend as well.

Kirklin was a pretty good HS QB...wouldn't mind seeing him red shirt this coming year and practice with QBs...he's probably not going to be needed at DB next year if all others fall into place...no harm,no foul...
