These guys are just as confused as the rest of us at this point. I don't envy them b/c no matter what they do, they're wrong.

Interesting that Spiegs put in for us to get Antoine, but there's been a couple on3 guys (Chad Simmons included) that have put in for Miami to get him.

I said like a day before the Pickett commitment that you can't go full on believing these recruiting insiders who work for these companies. Weeks out and even days out doesn't matter. A kid can literally be wooed within 24 hours. It has happened against us plenty of times and for us some times too.

If we do get Antoine coming up, I'd bet 100% there is no more flipping him. LSU isn’t playing around monetarily now and Corey Raymond is still that guy regardless of what people think.

The only reason many of you on here are confused is that you take everything they say as gospel and you overreact to it. As long as you treat it as just one opinion, you'll be okay.

I remember reading a comment on the Locked on Miami talking about the bs the predictors be doing. Said Fong or one of the really prominent ones on there changed his prediction from Oregon to LSU minutes before Pickett announced so he could keep his high prediction rating. Most of these cats don't know shite. Use it as a guide and make your own observations from it. Fong, the one yall have preached about for so long, has been off on a lot of kids over the last 2 years. This is a whole new recruiting world and these kids are quick on the game of these recruiting guys. They can play them so they confuse the masses.

Antoine has been very LSU friendly on twitter for last few weeks. Makes me nervous.

Sounds like he’s implying that Patrick Peterson got NIL money 13 years before NIL was legal

No doubt! I was there when he closed out Ole Miss with a pick. He was legendary.

I saw that too. I think Antoine has a soft spot for them because they were the first to offer. He's riding it out and giving them the benefit of the doubt. But how in the world could you seriously consider a school that has underperformed for 20 years and is now in a conference that is quickly dying? I just don't see it happening.

Good point. Looking at their schedule, even if he balls out, he will not get a lot of primetime exposure at Miami. Only the UF and FSU games look like big market games and they probably won't get a huge draw.

LSU probably has national interest in:
USC
UCLA (more for the novelty)
A&M
UF
Bama
Ole Miss
Oklahoma

It's not Miami-specific. It's gonna happen to FSU too.

Listen, the SEC has been the best league and it hasn't been close for a long time.

But now with the additions to both the SEC and Big 10, I think it's gonna be super rare to see elite guys go to any other conference. All they're going to be told is one of these two leagues is gonna be your best option to be ready for NFL level competition.

It's not gonna matter if FSU/Miami/Clemson have good teams, it's gonna be about playing all the other top tier players throughout the season.

And you can only do that in 2 conferences.

I think TAF combining with bayou traditions turned us from a player to a top dog in the NIL realm.

Idk if it'll be #1 but it'll be a class to remember that's for sure, the defensive coaches are now really showing up big.

Just saw a post on twitter saying there’s a rumor that Antoine is pushing his commitment date back to the bayou splash. Anyone hearing this?
