Could be old news but just want to share when I hear something.

We are getting some help from the state capital on this one...everybody doing their part to try and get Ish to LSU.

Hoping this along with Coach O’s all out push starting tomorrow will be enough.

If you’re in Amite tomorrow be on the look out. LSU is suppose to be covering every inch of the area!

I have no faith in anyone in our State Capital to get anything accomplished. Just a couple years ago JBE was saying LSU football was about to go away...

JBE is from Amite and has made multiple comments about Sopsher and Lee if that's what you are getting at. Wouldn't be surprised if he was actively pulling strings to try and get them to LSU.

You know what though, it's about damn time we start fighting fire with fire. Saban has the damn barber and Petito in his pocket. We just happen to have the Governor of LA and his brother, who happens to be the sherriff of Amite. I'm ok with it. Level the playing field

The state needs to be working to remove a certain barber shop from the state. He needs to go Heuy Long on the situation, its Louisiana play to your strengths.

Hopefully they will arrest his mom and agree to release her once he signs.

Take that, Saban.

I’m not a fan of JBE at all and I don’t even live in LA, but if he helps us land Sop I won’t be complaining.

I'm not a fan of JBE either, but if he pulls this off, he gets some cool points in my book. It's a step in the right direction. He hasn't done a terrible job though, IMO

You mean people in Baton Rouge are pushing for Ish? I would hope so.

Help from the state capitol would be nice too

I don't think their is much coming out of Amite for a while...at least no 4 or 5 stars. The barber will no longer be needed. He's been played.

If Ish really cared about saban's mom that much, he would've signed with bama back in December.

Lol. Just got too laugh at the hype around this Sopsher kid. Yes he is a big kid with talent but we have seen kids with this kind of talent before. If he comes to LSU then great if he doesn't oh well. You have to work to be great and imho Sopsher doesn't show that work ethic needed to be great. Shelvin showed us this past season. Anyway

I wouldn’t count on anything from Daniel Edwards with how the feds have been investigating the Sheriffs office.

Yeah, I'd be good with keeping Exxon over the barber shop.

Maybe you missed the last 4-5 games, but Shelvin is starting to turn it around realize his potential. He had a very good Bowl game. If he keeps it up, he’s going to be a star next season. Maybe Ish could do the same.

EXACTLY! Now do the same in every town from Vivan to Grand Isle and Lake Providence to Vidor.

yep. Was very excited and pleased to see it too. Important piece. I put in another post a while back one thing is very very rare to see is a football coach assume they can't motivate or fix attitude problems. It is rarely a factor in recruiting to the extent it causes them not to pursue someone. It's their job to motivate, to do that, right or wrong, is to surrender the fact they can't do a basic function of their job and a baseline facet of their career. No human would.
