You would be surprised at the amount of kids that attend Catholic whose families would not be considered “financially stable.” I have no idea about Shelton’s family though but I do know his dad was a pretty damn good player at Redemptorist.

He was a beast for centrals SLYFA team as a kid. He played QB and I don’t think they lost a game for a few years.

I've wanted him in an LSU uniform for a few years now. He basically beat Brother Martin in the playoffs a few years ago, and he's developed since. I think LSU's performance this coming year will play a huge role in whether he stays home or not. We'll recruit him well but Bama will look so shiny if we struggle (transition year or not).

Maybe they did some actual research into what his name image and likeness would be worth in marketing for a small business, as it was meant to be. Not what an A&M oil tycoon will pay to watch him play for his favorite team
