There have been varying stories. One was that Leavitt informed the staff he was still taking other visits and they pivoted to talking to Williams in response to not getting a signature.

I don’t get this take. If anything , the Williams situation, informed me that we can likely pull any number of 15-25 QB’s who are either starters somewhere or 5 star backups (unless they signed an NIL deal in the past week).

I agree. Leavitt's silent commitment (if it happened) means nothing. We need to sign Clark and see how things play out with Leavitt or any other higher profile QB. Sign Guerra or Holstein too.
