Here is a summary of what he just dropped:
He still thinks we get Barion Brown and JaKeem Jackson
We’ll probably still get visits from Michah Hudson and Nic Anderson (sounds like it’s basically between A&M and us for both guys, so each team might get one or the other)
They really want Will Heldt, but he’s visiting a couple other schools before making a decision
They RPMed Braelon Moore, and think he will start at center. Chester move to guard, and Curne will start as a freshman
Jimari Butler (Nebraska) Jaylen Brown (Missouri) Jack Pybrun (Florida) are all D - Line guys they’ve got buzz from
Luke Hasz visited but still visiting a lot of other schools (he’s our top tight end target)
We also feel good about our chances on Bauer Sharp (Oklahoma tight end)
Max Klare (Purdue) Luke Mcgray (Tulsa) are names that they might have interest in at tight end
They like the UL tight end, but other schools probably have more interest

Appreciate the summary. We’ve got a lot of good options and good work being put in by Austin Thomas and the staff. Now it’s time to close some deals. Git ‘er done.

Kelly is so aggressive he's trying to get a Grambling kid

Positive stuff. Hope they can land a starting safety and Spears takes the next step. Gilbert as backup.
If Perkins came back, the defense could be pretty damn strong if the above portal guys all hit (albeit unlikely)
Edge: Heldt, Reliford
DT: McKinnley, Tank Breaux
LB: Weeks, keys, perk
CB Jackson Stamps and the true freshmen
NB Woodland
S transfer and spears

Lester “dumbass” Earl won’t be happy

Did Shea happen to mention why On3 hasn't done a podcast since before national signing day? Seems weird. Normally discussing signing day is kind of a big thing for a recruiting service.

I was also wondering this.

The NFL is full of kids from small schools who either bloom late or just are hard workers. The Ohio St kids didn't work out, go after talents who can play. If they got to Jacksonville St, Grambling, or NW Whocaresville if they can play sign them up.

This is not specific to this thread, but to portal recruiting in general:
Whenever a player enters the portal, the obvious information I want to know is whether he can really play and whether he's interested in LSU
Beyond that, the very next thing I want to know is how much eligibility he has remaining. That's a pretty significant thing, but the articles and profiles from 247 and On3 seldom provide the details.
The profiles list the year he enrolled, but that's useless unless you know if he redshirted at any time. They need a category on the profiles for "remaining eligibility" if they actually want to serve their subscribers.
