We still have Harris, McMillan, and our current disaster of a QB....... Signing two young QBs (Patterson and Franks) could make a nice competition at QB. I could understand Patterson looking at all his options and our other QBs.

Based on what we saw last season most of the time in terms of QB play, no one can blame McMillan if he believes he should start at QB. And I suppose you want to have players with some confidence.
Much better play is needed at this position if the team is to be successful and have shots at the SEC and national titles.

All championship caliber teams need a few good QB's.
Shea should understand he has the skills to be a starter, Franks too.
When you build a playoff team you need great recruits, they are great recruits.
There is no guarantee on any team that they will get any more playing time.
Just follow your heart and trust your gut.

Didn't realize McMillan wanted to redshirt his first year. I thought him early enrolling to LSU did away with that thinking.
