Shea wrote the latest scoop article on Pickett today. According to Shea, Dj Pickett is already looking the part of the next great LSU cornerback. He apparently shined in bowl practices and has already stood out in team workouts. The chances of him being a day 1 starter have already been boosted by how impressive he's looked. LSU sources feel a strong spring and summer will put him on the same tier as Stingley in terms of his talent level and ability to make an impact immediately. Sources according to shea feel it's more likely than not this kid is starting day 1 at clemson.

Good to hear. Clemson’s 3 receivers may be the strength of their team so he doesn’t have a warm up game

For sure I saw Antonio Williams is also returning this year. Him In the slot to go with their sophomore duo of Wesco and tj Moore is as tough of a trio of wideouts that we'll see all of next season that's a damn good wr room. Pickett absolutely will get a trial by fire.

Hopefully going up against our loaded WR room all spring and summer will prepare the kid for the caliber of wideouts he'll see right off the bat. I'm excited to see how he'll do against their explosive wideouts his first college start he has a great opportunity to show the world immediately why he was the no.1 corner in the country.

We have a deep room of talent now at that position. my money is on either mansoor or Jackson to seize the other CB spot. Wouldn't rule out stamps either as he's still young and has a lot of starts under his belt in just 2 years maybe the added talent pushes the kid to elevate his game. For woodland, I think he'll man the slot. Mansoor at nickel is also an option dude is versatile and can play multiple spots in the backend

Good and he won’t sit out a year “injured” like stingley did. (Still bitter about that)

If we win a national championship next year like Stingley did, I honestly wouldn't mind it..

Womack had talented guys in front of him which is why he couldn’t get on the field as much.

Pickett IS the most talented guy in that CB room, no offense to Jackson or Delane. Pickett has lockdown 1st round pick potential

Good to hear. Hopefully the edge guys and interior DL guys, along with a Perk out to prove a point, will provide some pressure to help out with our DB’s.

Pickett has future star written all over him. His biggest need is to gain weight and get after it in the weight room before August.

Are you talking about 2021 when he had a Lisfranc injury, tried to play through it then ultimately opted for surgery when he couldn't play through it? I swear some are so stupid.
