Maybe he wants out of state and a great education than can carry him for life. GA is academically extremely higher ranked than LSU.

What is he getting a degree in that favors GA.

That's the word. We'll see if it stands. They've botched a few candidates already

Pretty much just one of those cases of he wanted to leave the state and Georgia generally pumps out O-Linemen to NFL and has a really good OL coach....

Not much else to it.

Some of these kids leave the state to get away from bad dudes in the neighborhood they grew up with. Can't blame them.

He’s actually a smart kid. I get what you are saying, but he isn’t a dummy.

Pittman is official. This COULD change things.

I don't want to be the coach making room if it did, but if he wants in AND *this would be the condition* he will sign on the 18th- he gets in.

Pittman is good, and one of the reasons he's been UGA for the better part of a year.

So did he commit because of his position coach in part... or in full. I'm sure Cregg is burning up the phones. I think he paid his own way to game. I don't think he made his way to either locker room or tunnel though. He's kind of hard to miss.

Rumor is the Georgia coaching staff is being decimated. Maybe he'll have a change in heart

Coley has to be on a hot seat.

I think it would unfair to him; I see this as a potential "Les & his OC" situation where Coley isn't the root of their problems and as long as Kirby is there no OC will produce significantly different offense.

But it is what it is... Coley may be looking to bail to save his rep (unlikely) or he may be sent packing (more plausible, but not probable).

If that happens it will shake several recruits. You don't go to the SECCG and clean house. The idea of that will scare many with the likes of Orgeron and Saban whispering 'instability' in recruits ears.

Thanks. I'm hearing the coaches getting gigs are taking some of the others. This could be just rumors from a GA friend

Listening to Kirby after the game, it seems like he thinks it's more that they don't have the personnel than their scheme.

He made the point that they run a lot of the same plays we run, but we have better personnel to run them, so it doesn't look the same.
