BUT .... This is indeed a unique year, not just because of the LSU Coaching change, but also because of the transfer portal and the additional 7 counters available. If we end with signing 2 to three today from HS, that would leave us ideally situated with 4 to 5 we can take from the transfer portal. While it is not ideal to lose any recruit to Bama, it also means that Bama just used a counter for a three star HS player. It will be one of their lowest star takes in this cycle.
Looking back on this all from the Fall, this may be a glass more than half full for the Tigers in the end.

2 weeks ago everyone was thrilled with what we'd gotten so far considering the fact that we had a total program overhaul. Then a few diva arse attention whores start posting TikToks on the internet and now the program is ruined?
These kids will take the money and i'd be willing to bet 75% of them never see significant playing time where they sign a LOI. Unless rules change with the Portal, NSD is very unimportant and forever will be.
