There's no way you're this self unaware. No way. You were openly cheering for LSU to lose every game this season.

Kind of like those people who reveled after every loss the past couple of seasons, right? That mirror can be a hell of a thing can't it?

McMahon is GONE and I couldn’t be more thrilled about it.

Each loss that contributed to his firing was for the good of the program.

Each loss that McMahon racked up (and there were a lot of them) that contributed to his firing is for the good of the program. If you can see that, then I can’t help you.

You’re not an LSU basketball fan though. Why are you here?

I'm a big CWW guy and I am glad CMM is gone but I don't agree with your stance. CMM being a good coach would have been better for the program than 4 years of misery and a ton of money spent for a coaching change.

It obviously wasn’t working. Makes no sense in doubling down on failure.

Pot, meet kettle.

What are you basing your info on a Wade collapse on? Just a sneaking suspicion?

Simply on the fact that a guy that we were after went to one of the highest paying basketball schools with one of the best recruiting coaches in modern history. And I guess the portal is closed today and Wade cant get any players now.

You honestly don’t see the difference between a four year sample size of failure and rejoicing in missing out on a recruit before a game is even played (in this second tenure)?

I don’t have the time or patience to explain that to you. Sorry.

Yes, you must be fully justified in your hypocrisy. Move around.

Rejoicing? That's an interesting word there. Not sure it's that, seems like it's more comical to people, but you're going to see it how you want to see it.

I just don't agree. The BEST scenario under McMahon would have been bouncing around the mediocrity level. We were LUCKY he was as horrible as he was, or we might have been stuck with him for a decade.

Nowhere NEAR what we're most likely about to have over the next decade with Wade at the helm. I envision a Scott Drew type of tenure for Wade the second time around, hopefully without Baylor's recent decline.

This is revisionist history based on the actual results. How could the BEST case scenario not be CMM being like Nate Oats. Mid Major guy, gets a bigger budget and kills it. Yes, we know now that CMM wasn't very good but when he was hired he had a good resume and was wanted by other programs. Its not like we hired Matt Luke to just wait out the sanctions. We hired a guy to win and he just didn't work out.

This is akin to saying the best case scenario for Brian Kelly was being 9-3 every year. Thats what happened but the best case would have been winning a natty and being a regular in the playoffs. That didn't happen but that doesn't mean that wouldn't have been best case.

With the way I worded my post your response is correct.

I should have stated it didn't take long (which it most certainly DID NOT), for me to realize that McMahon was an epic loser.

I also had the hope you did when he was first hired, but that hope disappeared quickly.
