Lol where are all the dumbasses that said we don’t need a QB in the 2023 class.

We are going to have quite the QB competitions...love it. Especially keeping a local guy too

I don’t care what people say, having more competition is never a bad thing. You want to play, be prepared to compete and win the job.

Not crazy about the throwing motion from his jr film but it looks way better in the elite 11 pro day video... I know he's raw but he looks as good athletically as anyone in this class at QB. Really great pick up... When was the last time Louisiana produced three top fifteen prospects at the QB position in one year?

Holy shite! This is actually the kid that I wanted us to take at QB. This would be a great addition to the class and another Baton Rouge kid staying home and helping to change the narrative.

We need a QB every recruiting cycle. With injuries, players not panning out, transfer portal, etc. you have to have a QB every cycle.
Remember when Jarrett Lee was forced to play early because Ryan Perrilloux f’d up?

I never understood where they were coming from with how NIL and the transfer portal has shaped CFB.
You take a QB every single cycle. You never know who’s going to leave. Collins is a beast. You can’t let him leave the state

Didn't think he would flip, I 100% admit that. He's the 3rd QB I wanted at LSU from this class and can't believe we possibly have him.

Posted many times that while I’d love Dante Moore, if we didn’t get him, Collins is my desired QB from this class in Louisiana

Wow, this goes to show you just how bad arse our staff really is. Just imagine, it’s only the beginning too! They start winning games on top of this recruiting staff we have and it’s game over playa! I can see us landing 4 or 5 top 30 players a year and continuing to dominate for those really talented under the radar type of kids. The future of LSU football is looking really bright!

Look the way I see it is that if a passing team like Purdue wanted him, then he must be pretty good at passing the ball.

Collins can be a really good QB, he has all the tools and has obviously been working on his footwork and throwing motion. He's a big get for the Tigers.

just another project that won't pan out.

We have a couple young non project QBs. Taking a local guy like this, who has a super high ceiling and is comfortable redshirting, is always a good move. Heard a few say he’s a really great kid too, which obviously Kelly loves in his locker room.

I don’t think many said we shouldn’t take one. It just wasn’t as big a priority or as big of a deal if LSU missed out on one or the top QBs which was my point all along. It was in response to people freaking out about Moore
