I wouldn’t call this confirmed. I’ll call it confirmed when she competes next season (or maybe if she shows up
For auburn’s preseason). This is the article I saw and it still seems a bit loosey-goosey

What’s wrong? I’m happy to see her compete another season. It’s incredible for the sport to have these Olympians competing and it wouldn’t look great if they came for one year just to leave.

What's wrong is the insane scoring Auburn got this year due to her presence. She raises the quality of their overall team score by probably half a point on her own. It was routinely raised by about 1 - 1.5 points in some of the crazier meets due to overscoring of her and the overall score rising due to her being on the team.

With a year like last year and increased highscoring for Suni, we'll be lucky to make it to the evening session, especially if Kentucky continues to rise and Missouri's season wasn't a fluke.

What? Not trying to be mean, but Victoria will be lucky to make any lineups.

She announced it today. Given what Jenny did with Riley this year (as well as Payton Richards), she will most likely give VN time to let her body heal fully from her injuries before easing her into one of two lineups just on time for post season. Of the coaches in the NCAA, Jenny seems to do one of the better jobs in the country with injury and lineup management given how much depth she has on her team.

O she's awesome and I like seeing her compete, I've always liked her. But I'd be lying if I said I wanted the teams we compete against to be better. IMO she helps other individual gymnasts scoring and she is good for Auburn recruiting.

I’ll say this - if she was preparing for elite competition she had enough of a bar routine to help us out this year.

Despite Jay’s use of her, lol.

Floor and vault now online as well.

Having seen her routines, I really don't understand why we didn't let her do all 4 events. Her bars and vault would have been great additions. I am curious how her second vault would score in NCAA.

I definitely think that second vault would score better than the 1 1/2. Better block and form. I still don’t understand why she didn’t get in bars or vault. Jay spoke about letting freshman ease into completion . Bars can be re worked but vault is definitely a strength for her. I’m excited for her potential next season and this experience should only help her.

They gotta scrap that 2nd tumbling pass for next season and use something else. As always the double Arabian is perfect

She looks great on vault.

Hard to judge from this meet on things considering it’s extremely difficult going from NCAA back to elite routines when the training regimen is very different (amount of reps especially) but she got a silver medal in the AA

Agree with your statement. It comes down to skill selection and coaching. She had a two pass routine that never quite scored to it’s potential. Let her do a 1 1/2 lay and double tuck as her final pass and keep it moving. The 2 1/2 was inconsistent and that front double she fell. She has an elite background. Go with what works. Bars has always been her weakness but she needs a routine construction that works for college. Maybe having another off season it will come. She is an all arounder for this team and just needs the reps in competition. We have to change our bars and beam this season. Floor and vault always is a strength but it’s 4 apparatus in gymnastics and beam and bars have been our nemesis for to many seasons since 2019.

Honestly her bars exhibition during the regular season was really good (much better actually than the routine she did for this meet) but Jay kept reiterating he wanted Aleah to go slow this year. No excuses not to have her in the vault lineup next year. She is way too talented and she has multiple vaults capable of scoring really well.

I notice the twitter crowd ripping LSU over not using her more ironically.

I will say this, while Jay has his faults, he has made it a priority to keep the kids healthy at the forefront. They have done a good job managing injuries as best they can which I can appreciate.

Didn’t Aleah fall on beam in the postseason? I think she is going to be a great gymnast but it’s funny everyone getting on Jay. The pressure she has to deal with at the SEA games vs going for a Natty is not even a comparison
