Haleigh appears to have the double front half. Is she being held back on it for now? If so, that doesn't make a lot of sense knowing she will have a built in deduction.

I'm not sure how consistent the double front half is yet, I just know she has landed it cleanly at times in practice. I hope she finds some consistency over the next two months because we need a consistent dismount for her.

I dmed her and congratulated her. She told me Auburn had always been her second choice after LSU but she ended up committing there since Jay didn’t offer her a scholarship

I felt like that was what happened with Bryn. She has wanted LSU since a young gymnast. I wish her the best at Auburn. It is as said "Bloom where you are planted".

Good for her. I know we all have a dream school but I would never pass up a full ride scholarship!

She told me herself that is what happened

Totally agree. Bryn’s a beautiful gymnast and I feel Auburn is a good fit for her. I actually feel Arkansas would have been a better fit but I’m unsure of their scholarship situation. Still interested to see where Amari and Morgan Price end up. Saw some chatter on Twitter that Amari was considering Cal. I’m not sure how true that is though.

Between Brock and Ryan training 1.5s hopefully at least one of them can develop a vault that is consistent enough for lineups this year.

I’m assuming LSU will pace Kiya early on and let her do more difficulty later in order to preserve her body

Cal, Rutgers, and Utah have the best signing day announcements. Love to see the variety/creativity from each school though.

So this should be a good debate before we start talking lineups. What’s your all time favorite LSU Leo? My favorite, i think, is the semi finals leo from nationals in 2019 where no one realized the top spelled LSU for like 1/2 the meet.

The leo from our first Super Six in 2008 will always be my sentimental favorite

Hey sometime over the next week or two I am going to end this thread and start a new one since it’s a bit long now!

LSU also picks up a commitment from Brooke Simpson (a walk on) for 2023. Hopes to develop into a strong beam worker for us.

Training Videos

Kylie Coen and some of our current commits drove up this weekend as well.

Addison Fatta signs with OU. Seems like a good fit for her.

That’s wild! I always assumed she would go to Florida. That’s a good pickup for them

Me too. But I think she’ll have more opportunities to compete at OU. Plus I think Florida may have run out of scholarships.

Nice to see the expansion of televised meets for gymnastics in 2022. Just really wish LSU could’ve gotten ABC or ESPN2 treatment. Not saying there’s anything wrong with the SEC Network or ESPNU. But I would just like to see them on the bigger networks for more viewership.

ABC broadcasting regular-season contests is exciting. Let's think big: College gymnastics during prime-time on ABC in a few years!
