Remember when Aggies hired Elko so Robinson can stay on staff to keep players on team?

Based off of that conversation, I think they definitely need to address it then. As soon as possible, and at length.

He's a lame duck assistant that will be gone in a few weeks, yet Elko is still sending him out to recruit for A&M.

House is going back to the NFL. Their situation is Aggies interim head coach is on the road actively recruiting as Syracuse defensive coordinator. They all thought by hiring Elko, Robinson was going to stay on staff as the highest paid position coach in college football to keep the roster together.

Wtf is Elko thinking? Man, the Ags are a real mess right now.
Hard to believe I'm saying this but they probably shouldn't have fired Jimbo. They obviously didn't have a real plan for moving forward, and predictably now everything is a cluster frick.

Not really. There wasn’t a coaching change here. That’s a huge detail. House didn’t have the entire defense calling for him to be head coach. We all know that happened at A&M. He doesn’t have a new gig lined up yet, at least not that’s public knowledge. Also, it’s more likely House goes back to the NFL. And he definitely won’t be getting a better job if he stays in college like Robinson did (DL coach to solo DC). House would be facing a demotion.
However you look at it, the situation with House isn’t the same when Kelly sends him out to recruit today.

Holy Crap, that is a messed up situation I would not let happen if I am A&M AD. Put someone else as Interim and tell Robinson to hit the road, as many great players already hit the portal, so keeping him did not help as he took an upgrade to a DC position.
