Why all the worries? There have been many, many high school stars who were flops in college.

At an event in Thibodaux last night, Coach Tim Rebowe confirmed that Lindsey Scott is now enrolled at Nicholls and will be part of the team. They are hoping to redshirt him this year, giving him 2 years of eligibility after this season.

LSU-JUCO-Missouri-Nicholls St, wow and I love Nicholls St! Honestly I doubt Scott does anything at Nicholls.

Seems like we didn’t miss out on anything with any of these QBs!

I don't see how that would be possible.

Let's not rehash this over and over

Scott was the most dominate player in Louisiana his senior year and many say one of the best in recent times. That year we had Zero QB committed and our coaches took a gamble on a great athlete. Everyone knew is was a gamble and we wasted a spot at that time of the biggest position of need and depth. I am ok with that, hind sight is great and if we did this we could have predicted Dak's potential and recruited him harder along with Travis E.

Wish nothing but the best for this kid. At the time, i said let the kid chase his dream at LSU. But if it was a starting qb or leave dream, his best bet was Harvard. He probably would have become a tycoon with a degree and the kind of connections being a star football player there would bring.

didn't he get an offer to play at Harvard? His guidance counselor should be taken to the firing squad.

Lowell Narcisse

I really thought he was going to be a baller. He can't even beat out the 3 star guy at UTSA.

This is the core of the problem, recuritards think they know more than the coaches, it's embarrassing actually.

The fact that we heavily recruited Narcisse is troubling. Our QB talent evaluation has been shite for years.

Is Narcisse that different from Finley as a recruit coming out of HS?

Not trying to be a smartass, honest question.

How are they similar is the better question, to me. I don't see many similarities at all.

From the little I know about Finley, big QB, big arm, not the most accurate, not very mobile, high ceiling and low floor type QB who will take a few years to develop. Finley doesn't have the injury history which is nice.

If im off and they're completely different, let me know. I want one of these QBs we bring in to finally stick.

Why? What did I say that is so wrong? Andrew Robison is a freshman and will get a redshirt. He will be hard pressed in beating him out.

Yeah. And being on the football team for Harvard would have made even more sure of that.
