Regarding Reed: Auburn offered a deal where he could make 150,000.

Take what you want from this. I did mention what happened with Jacoby Matthews last year as well.

Chester getting high amount as well.
This won’t be the last time Auburn is involved with LSU, they have a good chance at flipping Bo Hughley (Big Bo) which we already kind of knew.
Not only that but they are targeting Armoni Goodwin as transfer option (doubt it happens but they are spending)
Enough with the negative though, LSU will be more than fine. LSU in the mix for Jordan Hall, and leads for top 100 edge rusher Tausili Akana. And of course can’t forget Toviano, Ricks, Harbor.

Have to replace mickens and reed on the d line. Akana is small.

I think y’all remember how Kirby was throwing bags around when he first got to UGA. LSU needs to ensure the first few years are successful so kids start putting them in the same conversation as Bama UGA OSU. Like it or not we are not on their level yet.

It’s just desperate money, not more money. Regardless, Auburn is outspending LSU. DJ Chester would be a massive blow. Darron Reed wanted to be closer to home
That was the only critique I had about taking a “national” approach to recruiting. Kids will always consider playing close to home. Wish LSU offered bigger NIL deals to some of the Louisiana CBs
LSU just has to be smart because all the good vibes of a top 5 class can be gone in an instant these days. NIL and the portal is nuts
