If he continues to flirt with Bama and Willis wants in before RJ then i say let him go to Ttown. But Im sure the coaches think differently, and thats just my list

If we land this class this would be a very very good class probably one of the best. What do you guys think

USC guys, one of our less highly thought of insiders is hinting at Goodman having a handler. Any word from your end? I've got a feeler out to my USC guy but haven't heard back yet.
Yeah that rumor is being circling around and is unsubstantiated. It comes from his 7-on-7 League team.
Still think you guys are in ok shape for Goodman, but Willis is USC's to lose.

I'm in the same boat.
After the fiasco with Collins last year. There's nothing any other school in the nation can offer that LSU can't. If these kids want to turn their back on them, then don't let the door hit you in the arse.
It's not like LSU can't land elite type players to fill those spots. I'm done with the whole "LSU HAS TO KEEP THE STATE KIDS HOME!" thing. They don't HAVE to anymore. They WANT to, but don't have to.
This goes for any La. kid, including Fournette.

I know we all like to bang our chest and make out like we win with Louisiana talent but it's not like LSU has ever won big without big time OOS help. That's one thing Bama fans get that a lot of LSU fans don't. In 2012, it takes national recruiting to win national titles.
While we crow over all of our in-state guys and our percentage of LA born NFL players, Bama and Auburn are starting threads on the SEC Rant about winning the last three BCS Championships. They don't care that Trent, Cam and most of their other big time guys didn't come from Alabama.
For you guys that say, "Give me all Louisiana kids because I know they'll play harder and play for each other" I give you this:
Didn't mean jack shite to Landon and it won't to some other Louisiana kids too.

Goodman and Willis. Hawkins
new Brandon Huffman Scout article up today on Goodman.
He's excited about seeing Bama play at LSU (thinks it will be crazy)
Says he and Hawkins aren't a package deal since Hawkins has already committed. Says he and Willis talk about going to the same place but they will all do what is best for themselves individually.
Says he will be tripping to OU & Hawaii for sure but hasn't set up his last two visits.
When asked about USC & UCLA he said he'd visited both over the spring and likes both coaching staffs.
There, no quotes but this about summarizes the whole article as it had no news in it.

A little more background info on Goodman
"I hope that I can use football to get into fashion," he said. "Like (Michael Jordan) was able to do, something like that, would be cool.
"I have been into fashion for a little bit. Stuff like that is what I am into off the field; I think it would be cool to have my own line someday or get into photography. I am taking classes for that right now and want to get a new, expensive, camera."

IMO, Willis and Nkemidiche are the long shots. Maybe not long shots but I say below 30% chance. Would be nice if we could just get 1 of the 2. I hope I'm wrong and we sign all the guys on your list though.

that leaves supposedly 1 spot left for someone like Crayton, Pagano, Manning, Vanderdoes, etc.
Bone on Scout has an article up about Crayton today.
Tennessee, Mississippi State, LSU, Arkansas and Ole Miss are recruiting him the hardest.
Will probably make his decision at the end of his 2012 season.
Says he recently benched 325 lbs. 20 times.

I wish I could remember who said it here to give him credit, but recruiting is about who you get, not who you don't get. LSU is now a national program. I guess some fans will always equate losing top in state guys to the 80's and early 90's when we had no shot with the top in state guys. Its not like that any more. If we lose some, we just get guys from OOS.

Tim Williams
Greg Gilmore
Rickey Jefferson
Desean Smith
Melvin Jones
Kendall Beckwith
I think this is about all we can fit after Swanson's commitment.
I also see potential in accepting, first Jennings, then Mccarley if offered.
And of course, you take Nkemdiche and Willis if they want on board.

Who do you subtract if we get the kicker?
This has been a fun couple of weeks and 2013 has been a WAM! BANG! POW! recruiting year.
It's just the first week of June and we are running out of space.

Beckwith to Bama IMO
I could see that, but I think it's a numbers matter at this point in the game for LSU.

No idea. My head would explode trying to make numbers work in that situation.
