I agree with that. I'm pretty confident that everyone is going to be happy with our class no matter who's in or who's left out. It's going to be a top 5 class. I'd be more than pleased with 225's class.

Only problem is that at this point it seems inevitable that we take a RB with Adam Taylor likely the guy. Word is that the staff is set on taking one.

I personally think, outside of DL, that DB is our biggest need area so I'd use those spots before using them elsewhere but evidently the staff doesn't feel the same. They seem to really want at least 4 and maybe 5 wrs in this class. Unless Diarse is playing S and no one is telling or we may have that many. It seems that White is seriously being considered at WR.

The secret guy is pay info and I don't divulge that stuff so sorry. I'll give a hint though. He's been listed on this board before so he's not a complete unknown. May even be in the 2013 prospect thread. Apparantly we may be in better shape than anyone knows.

Edit- it appears we don't have a 2013 prospect thread. I could've sworn we had one stickied at one point. I know for a fact that the kid has had his profile posted on this board, picture and all, in the last month. EastTexasTiger was likely the guy that posted it. Someone with a good memory will figure it out.

what position does he play? I think I know who you are talking about. Also, Justin Manning is visiting this summer again and probably for an official this fall. I know a lot of people think he's OU's to lose but I'm not so sure. If he was so into OU, why hasn't he committed to them

I understand Va, thanks for the info you do give us though. Yeah I would be excited if we finished off with 225's class but like you said, we're going to be excited when signing day rolls around. Gonna make for a fun party at the Bash this year.

If we somehow land Priest Willis and Tahaan Goodmen I will be ecstatic. That's reaching far out in the West Coast with those 2 and Rettig. I'll be happy if we get 1 of the 2 actually. Then I guess we'll be stressing until signing day hoping they honor their commitment because that's a long way from home.

Im really interested to see how the DT position plays out. I will admit, I'm partial to the front 7 because that's where games are won. With Lawson on board and Gilmore likely, that leaves supposedly 1 spot left for someone like Crayton, Pagano, Manning, Vanderdoes, etc. There's no telling. They would have a tough time turning any of them down. I'm a little worried with Pagano now that he got that UF offer. However, they took 8 DL last year. 8!!! We have a HUGE need for him in this class, and to be honest, I want him more than anyone. He's a beast. Manning is coming in for this camp as well, and OU just offered a kid from Mesquite, TX that is a DT and committed to ASU that's also here. I wonder if OU is realizing that Manning may not be interested? Should be fun to watch unfold.
