The article (can’t link) listed the top 25 players in the portal and Arkansas was in the top 3 of 75% of the players, Muss doing work. I hope WW is looking, but I’m not sure what our roster looks like if we lose the 4 expected to leave. Can someone please fill us in on a potential 21-22 roster.

Muss is killing it. I believe they've picked up 2 or 3 really solid transfers in the last week.

I don't know what their situation is but he may have more spots that need to be filled (also only has a two player freshmen class incoming). We only have two spots so Wade has to be a bit more selective

Cook
Gaines
Hyatt
Wilkinson
LeBlanc
O'Neal
Gray

Incoming:

Transfer:
Seneca Knight

Freshmen:
Alex Fudge (Been on campus since December)
Brandon Murray
Jerrell Colbert
Bradley Ezewiro

Don't be surprised if Arizona makes a hard push for Muss.

Don't think he'd take it. He already took Arky to an Elite 8 and I think Arkansas will pay to keep him. Arkansas has plenty of basketball support. At this point going to Arizona isn't a step up from Arkansas imo.

I kinda agree.

I think it would take a better job to get him to jump.
Arkansas will just pay to keep him.

I have a strong feeling that Wade will pick up a big that none of us have heard of. Possibly two

Wonder if Wade has any European connections?

So Muss is in the top three for 18 of the 25 top transfer players? How is that even possible for the blue bloods let alone Arkansas?

Muss is doing something over there...

Cause he is a great coach and he has shown he can do it with transfers.

He also just got to the elite 8. That doesn't hurt.

Muss just landed another transfer. A kid averaging nearly 22ppg. Hope Wade hits a few homeruns.

Will he go, where did he cut his teeth at, Arkansas is a pretty solid b-ball program considering fans, history, and support, unless he wants out west.

Arkansas had 4 Seniors on the roster; a junior who is in the transfer portal, and a likely 1st round pick (Moody) who just declared for the draft. They also only have 2 HS recruits singed for next season. Point being, he had multiple scholarships open. That is why they have been so active.

LSU (assuming Days stays in the draft) only has one spot available for a transfer (unless someone with eligibility remaining decides to leave). That's why you aren't seeing a ton of news coming out about LSU. I think some thought Wade was going to be wheeling and dealing in the transfer market when the reality was he didn't have much room to work because LSU's roster is mostly complete. The guys who are leaving early ALREADY (for the most part) had their spots filled by HS signees and one mid-season transfer

college basketball is changing... pretty soon you won't see the top programs signing many high school kids, the way they're going into the transfer portal.

Love what Muss is doing. Would love him to come back here. Understand Wade is not going anywhere. Just commenting on how impressed I am with what Musselman is doing.

It's crazy seeing how good musselman is and thinking we had him over there on the bench while johnny Jones was the hc

You can't blame poor ole JJ for his coaching failures. You have to keep in mind , he was taught by the master himself .
