He was very interested into ole miss and brought his mom on a visit. Speculation was that he was recruiting for LSU and freeze stopped recruiting him.

Would love to see Deondre Clark in the 2014 LSU class, but understand if he would stay closer to home due to health concerns for his mother.

If that's the case, I understand. Good luck on whatever decision he makes

Guys his mother has cancer. He is probably looking to stay close to her.

She loves Les and Brick so we will see what happens.

The OU beat writers are reporting a flip could be very likely soon.

OU had a in-home visit with Clark last night...word on the street is that they have successfully flipped him.
I hope not. This kid fits perfectly with what LSU does. Skills and technique to set the edge and can get after the QB.

Some writers hinted at this a couple weeks ago.

Oklahoma or Oklahoma St.

His mom is in our prayers.
Could you please modify subject so that we represent the LSU fanbase well?
Not saying it's negative, but let's support the young man through his difficult decision and what he is going through.
THANK YOU!

best wishes to his family in this situation

I hope he still picks LSU but especially in light of the circumstances I wish him personally the best regardless of his choice

Yea he is a position of need for us and id love to keep him in this class but that is a good reason to flip. Family should be his number 1 priority and if mom is having medical issues it would serve him and his family best if he stayed close to home. Good luck to the young man and his mother.

Clark is a great athlete and you really can't fault him for wanting to stay home if that's what he chooses.

Brick has been busy though, doing work sons. Valentine, Street, Malik McDowell, Chad Thomas...I think he lands 2 of these guys.

Also means they might move Beckwith to DE and offer Terry McCray at SLB.

Deondre would love to see you at LSU, but some things are more important than football and and mama's are one of them. Praying for you mother.
