Dammit.

Hope his mom gets healthy, though.

Damn!!!

Tough decision for the kid to make with his louisiana ties. Totally understand his choice if he decides to stay close to mom.

Goodluck!

Please allow the young man to make a decision first. Having a in-home visit with a coach is not the end of the world. LSU has already visited guys who we know are not coming to LSU...best wishes to him and his family.

He's been flirting awhile now. I wouldn't be surprised if he did leave.

Even though he was an early commitment to LSU, I figured OU would continue recruiting him and make a spirited effort to flip him, even before I knew of his mother's health situation.

This will be interesting to see if LSU can hang on.

Take care of your mom, man. Football is just a game, but your mom...

Best of luck with whatever you decide, and make her proud!!

Would love to see Deondre at LSU, but would totally understand if he's staying home so he can spend more time with his mom. Prayers go out to her speedy recovery.

Prayers sent. Hope he stays but respect his decision either way. Family is #1. Whatever the choice. Work hard and make mama proud.

It's a shame that he has to make his decision under these circumstances, but obviously it's family before football. He can get a good education and have a good playing career at either Oklahoma or LSU, though. Hopefully, he's still able to be a Tiger, but we should all wish him the best whatever he has to do

Thank you, way to keep it classy Oly.
Let's all represent LSU well in the coming months and show respect to the recruits that are considering LSU as their home the next 3-5 years. I'm from up north, but love the fire and energy that residents have from The Boot. There have been 4 times that I've visited your great state and everytime I admire your faith, sense of family, love of football, and amazing food. Start strong, finish stronger!
