I know he played tackle for Aggies, but everything i have read said that was out of position for him. He is better at guard.
Exactly. He has the size to play inside + shorter-than-ideal length arms according to NFL standards for tackles, which I think plays into it. on3's comp is David DeCastro, so high praise.

Jones and Heard are guards at the next level and it would be great if we had tackles better so they could slide in.

Did you just say Heard is a guard at the next level? Dude is literally a prototypical tackle lol our LT of the future once Campbell declares

Well yeah it's Tigerdroppings, so those type of dumb comments shouldn't catch you by surprise.

Can he play defense?

I need people to understand. This young man has a very-very high ceiling, this would be a massive get.

Why would Bisontis come to sit? Give me Bisontis in over Frazier. Or Jones to guard and Heard to RT.

Hopefully he comes in to challenge for a starting position. We need the best line possible around Nuss and the RBs

Heard a guard? That’s the craziest thing I’ve heard in a while. From what I saw from Bisontis this year, he has a ways to go. Physically, he was not at the level that our freshmen lineman were that played in last 2 years. Has the tools to become very good. Feel confident that Heard will be starting next year at right tackle and Jones will move inside.

LSU looking to build the best line in history

Crazy part is this thread doesn't even mention a kid who is visiting LSU right now, Coen Echols. The 6'3", 300 lbs 4 star aTm decommit who is now an LSU lean. BUILD THAT WALL, BRIAN KELLY!

I don’t get the sense we are that interested in Bisontis. Apparently he’s chasing the bag AGAIN and leaning toward going closer to home.
Kelly is not very receptive to kids who used us or chased a bag in previous recruitments. Can’t say I disagree

Unlikely that we bring in a guy that starts on our Oline next year. Heard and Chester are both ready to shine, so it would be impressive if a transfer starts.
Having said that, would love to add Bisontis and let it play out. We really wanted him out of hs.

Bordelon has made strides too huh?

If that is the case - bag chasing - then I would agree with not falling prey to the antics of the market. But, if you can get a kid for fair market value, even if his NIL value is high, and he us believed to bring starting value to the team, I would hope we don't let finances limit us from taking great players

Ever since Frazier told FSU they were good mid game I’ve wanted him gone. No way Bisontis doesn’t beat him out.

Because it’s a Bisontis thread, he’s mentioned in several other threads.

Yep.... his footwork is nowhere near where it would be for him to play even right tackle... and while it may get a little better with him losing all his baby fat, it won't get that much better. He is a pro guard.
