Been following him since his sophomore year.
Kid has improved tremendously over his high school career and has proven to stay out of trouble while working his arse off to get better.
This is a good get. He will play while at LSU because of history ethic and his bodies ability to continue to get stronger, faster, quicker.
Our coaches know what they are doing fellas. They pay attention.

Hope landing Jenkins this early has any bearing at all one way or another on Guillory and Roy. We have to have those 2 in this class.

You can stop the run with a guy that height and weight and he will only get stronger in a D1 strength program. If he is 280 now he will be 300 by the time he plays. We get some mashers in the middle and force 3rd and long then adjust the personnel and keep moving.

That’s why I’m not sure why everyone is freaking out over his height. Low man wins along the LOS. The kid is an easy 6’1 or 6’2. It’s not like he’s 5’8. Get him in the weight room and in good condition where 2 years from now he’ll likely be a solid contributor.
