That may be true. But I think it's more to the point to show why no one is particularly excited or encouraged about this commitment. Last year LSU signed a guy (Zipper) who was a 22 year old pro in an overseas league. He hasn't played much at all. So why should anyone expect anything different with the news of this signing?

How about an even bigger package deal:
Joe Foxwell
Allen Graves from Ponchatoula

Why not an entire McDecade? He will have learned basketball coaching basics, if only by osmosis, by that time.

Wonderful.
LSU might be picked to finish in the top 5 of the West Coast Conference...maybe

Weren’t you the one saying that getting mid major players wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be?

In a general sense, getting mid-major transfers is not always a bad thing. However, under McMahon, getting ANY players, regardless of where they come from is. So getting a guy from the WCC, SEC, or WWF doesn't move the needle with LSU competing in the SEC. Therefore, rather than taking players from the WCC and trying to compete in the SEC, maybe the better play for McMahon is to see if LSU can take WCC players and try to compete in the WCC.

I gotcha thanks for the clarification

He will likely have offers from many schools. I doubt he would come to an awful LSU program that passed him over.
Now, if LSU is led by a guy who just so happened to coach Allen's older brother....

I agree! It’s telling all these arm chair basketball fans who are fantasizing wade coming back. If mm has 1 more year and there are no injuries or other setbacks with another losing season. Then it’s time for a change

Is there an echo in this motherflucker???
That same EXACT bullshite was said about that EPIC FAILURE one year ago.
Face it. He absolutely sucks as an SEC basketball coach. How much evidence do you truly need???

No. I’m not really a basketball fan, or a Will Wade fanboy, but NC State insiders saying Wade to LSU is “in motion” and / or “a done deal”. This is from their pay sites, so definitely alot of smoke.
