OT recruiting service news - 247 loses Bama Online -#1 fan site to ON3

Tim Watts who owned the BOL site left 247 and went to ON3
This is seriously going to hurt 247. LSU 247 is pretty much dead. Florida and Texas On 3 sites are better than their 247 sites now. On3 just got the lead Georgia guy from 247
If 247 loses A&M and Notre Dame sites they will become as bad as Rivals really quick

So do I but I suppose these insiders have probably seen the kids play up close and have a say when it comes to state rankings. I admit I have no idea how they determine national rankings/star ratings after consolidating all the states.

Shannon Terry doing what Shannon Terry does. In 5 years he'll found another recruiting site and put On3.com out of business within a few years of selling On3.com to another sucker.

Am I the only one who hates the on3 layout? Makes me eyes bleed.
He had a great format with 247. It was clean, accessible and easy to navigate. I feel like I’m wearing google glasses going through on3.
I hope sonny is okay. Been a longtime member of now both sites and knew it was over when shea made the jump. There had to be a falling out because you’d be a dipshit to not see the writing in the wall.

Recruiting is still important, but it has lost a little of the magic it once had due to the transfer portal and early signing period. This has created some unsteady waters in the recruiting board business. Fewer and fewer people will want to pay for that information as time goes. My prediction is On3 may put the others out of business and then become crap to users due to the lack of competition.
