Get him committed, then signed - figure out where he can best help the Team. He is worthy of a scholarship

You don't think Ford is gonna want clarification on this issue before signing?

Interesting recruit. Frank & Baker can determine where his best potential lies. Who knows? He does hold an offer-we must have some interest.

Was it Robert Hammond? This may sound crazy, but I can't remember details from a year ago. I'm getting old.

I'm a big Chad Elzy fan. Don't forget about Jasper Parker from Archbishop Shaw. There is a surplus of outstanding 2025 in-state RBs.

I think Robert Hammond went to Florida St.

Benny Guilbeaux. He had a solid career at Notre Dame if I remember correctly.

That's him. I used to play American Legion ball in Opelousas. I was telling my kids that early 1990's LSU was really bad. We lost alot of players from this state to teams like Florida st., Miami, Michigan. My kids have seen our tigers win 3 natty's in four appearances so they are spoiled.

The latest Ford thread is anchored.

I saw a post on X today that said he has the lateral speed to reach the edge. Isn't that the burning question though?

I don't have any additional comment on his On3 state ranking of 27, other than saying I believe he's closer to Rivals' No. 5 spot.

I read someone saying Sam S. wasn't renewed at On3. When he was hired there, I heard they didn't adequately factor in his rankings input. It's good he's back with Rivals. He's a better evaluator than Charles Power.

Cecilia better be packing for that one

They obviously did a lot of fricking around to find out. LOL

Will be difficult to stop Cecilia's offense.

I'm hearing they're going to put 2027 ATH Braylon Calais at tailback.

He's a big guy. Would possibly be similar to Ridge Collins getting some carries when he was at Cecilia. Worked great those years. He didn't get a ton of touches; was a starting inside linebacker, too.

2025 DB Brent Gordon will get snaps on offense. 2025 ATH Ellis Stewart actually drove the Bulldogs down the field for a scoring drive at QB in the regular season game vs. Opelousas.

Diesel Solari, the 2025 ATH who plays QB, will return after rushing for 33 TDs, throwing for around 20, and returning a few kicks for TDs. He was koncked out of the game for a few plays on the aforementioned drive; returned later in the drive and completed a pass to Stewart

This Braylon Calais from Cecilia is highly ranked by Prep Redzone.

I don't think any of the services have ranked 2027 prospects yet.

LINK

Don't quote me on this, but I think Prep Redzone ranks him in the Top 5 in-state prospects.

They split games last season. Obviously they lost the wrong one in their biggest game of the year and rematch in the dome.

Could be the next bulldog bruiser RB.

Brent Gordon

BJ Gordon is a stud. Would love to see him on the other side of the ball more for his senior campaign.

I was looking through some stats from last year. He (Gordon) had a big offensive night in the playoffs vs. Iota.

I heard Calais was going to get some carries.

Could be a Ridge Collins type runner. I was big on Collins. I need to find out how college has gone for him.

Yes sir. Hoping he gets more opportunities as long as it doesn't slow him down on defense. Looking forward to watching this group of seniors.
