No player is worth this, especially when they are going to handcuff the offense by keeping Sloan as OC just to make Underwood happy.
Just stupid to pay that type of money to anyone.

Do you guys really think he’s going to turn down Michigan? He can be the local hero who revives a Michigan team that totally dismantled after a title run.

He can be the local hero that hands the ball off 35 times a game. I think he will turn down Michigan. He's never seemed really interested in going there for what it's worth. I know we say the same about our guys in-state, but Michigan has no culture. Its cold as hell and Bryce is locked in with us

Truly don’t get what fans like you gain hoping for the worse and being negative when by all indications he’s locked in with LSU including posting an LSU jersey on his story right after this report. Not every kid wants to stay at home after HS and by all indications this kid wants to play in the SEC so gtfo with that BS

Sloan is extremely overrated. He took a 4th and 5th year starter and improved him, sure, but Crowton was notorious for that too. Then look what happened at LSU and everywhere else when he had a raw, young QB from scratch.
Sloan has proven nothing when it comes to developing a young QB, and Nuss is probably a great example of this since he is making the same mistakes as a 4th year junior that he did as a true Freshman.

If you don’t think nuss is 10x the QB now than he was a freshman then idk what to tell you. Go back and watch him against Arkansas freshman year, he was downright awful.

One part of me hopes he takes it if true. I mean where does this crap end? What's to stop some super wealthy alum from offering some kid 50-60 million to go to his school? You think it couldn't happen? What if a year ago you heard a school offered a kid 10 million, you would have said no frickin' way, well here we are. This runaway train has got to be put back on the rails.

It's NIL. It's not being paid by the university. It's absolutely no difference than endorsements of professional athletes. When the Supreme Court ruled amateur athletes could be paid of NIL, the market sets that. If Nike is willing to pay a college athlete 50 million, then it is what it is.

I don't think Underwood cares. This kid will play three years and go to the NFL. He wants to experience something different and who blames him? He lives in F'n Michigan. What we put together for him has him set for 3 years.
