I would take Berry over Lacy if it came down to it tbh. Would love to have both but I just don't see that happening.

Well he is the 247 guy for OM. He is a Ruston native and went to ULM. He has covered Auburn, TN and the Saints as well.

But, but “wHaT AbOuT THe KidS”

Funny how OM’s true colors are suddenly showing. Hypocritical runts.

Berry is a tremendous talent, put him in a Kiffin offense with some decent blocking and the sky is the limit. I think he is more explosive than Lacy.

Berry needs to put on some size this offseason. If he can bulk up about 10-15 lbs and keep that quickness he will be an absolute monster. Kiffin isn’t afraid to let his backs eat 25-30 touches a game and he’s going to need that size to get through that schedule.

Anyone saying this just hasn't watched Lacy play a whole lot. Berry might have similar speed and quickness, but Lacy is on another level as far as strength and power.

All the powder blue OM unis really piss me off simply because, man, Navy/Red/Grey is a fantastic look for OM

Berry had much more of an impact as a freshman than Lacy did as a freshman.

It's not crazy to say that Berry will be even better as a sophomore, especially if given the opportunity Lacy was.

Side note: Lacy did not lead the SEC in rushing, and his yards per attempt weren't in the top 10.

Berry is the perfect complimentary back to a guy like Lacy or even a healthy Durham. Kiffin needs to find a way to use him like Percy Harvin

Neal is very good at what he does, and is unique in this current age of reporting: He's honest.

SEC RB Ranks Per PFF

Out of 26 Qualified RBs(over 60 carries)

3. Kewan Lacy 85.9
13. Caden Durham 76.0
26. Harlem Berry 67.0

Kewan Lacy’s Rank Among SEC backs

Missed Tackles Forced: 1st
TDs: 1st
YAC: 2nd
10+yd Runs: 3rd
1st Downs: 1st
Receptions: 3rd

Dunno, he was pretty damn good. And sorry, 2nd in the SEC in rushing.

Berry is fine and has upside. But has concerns between the tackles & fumbling issues.

He was credited with 0 fumbles on the season.

Harlem Berry stats

You seem to have an ax to grind with our star running back.

He fumbled once vs Alabama and another time vs WKU for sure. Think there was a 3rd one too. Thats a lot of fumbles for just 100 carries.

There’s no axe to grind, I think most leveled headed people would take Kewan Lacy in a heartbeat. Berry playing off of him is what is best for LSU. And if he wants to transfer because of it, Durham or someone else will eat in that role.

ESPN stats are a joke. Western Kentucky’s only score was a scoop and score off a Berry fumble
