meh, if miles likes randall, he should run a spread option offense like oregon's or georgia techs. if he wants to keep his big 10, big 12, big shite or whatever the hell his tradition run the ball offense, stick with pro-style qbs.
he clearly doesn't know the identity of the offense.

Posted by demint53 I really don't think that some of you reaize just what effect the NCG had on the high school athletes in the country thinking about LSU. This is the beginning of the end. That's the deal. Believe whatever deluison you want. Our school was embarassed on national tv. Mainly, our coach.
Nope. Just not true. Listened to a recruiting expert talk just the other day. He said plain and simply that these young recruits don't look at a program or think even remotely close to how adults think. Their number one thought? Can I play early? That's it. No conspiracy theories. No well that team looked bad on tv. That's just not how they make decisions.

So its just his opinion?

No, it's what he heard from his sources. He never said he was speculating.

That's a solid contribution!
Well, I guess the only reasonable thing left to do is shut his and his family's social media outlets with threats, taunts and racial slurs.

What do you think ND has been doing on national TV for the last two decades?

Dave Berk on Scout, just said that watching the NC game DID play a role in the decision. don't shoot the messenger. ETA: HOWEVER, he said he hasn't talked to Gunner or the family. . .so he may just be speculating.
Yeah. Cause ND is gonna play in one soon.

Did your bud tell you that a team meeting was called to tell them Gunner was going to be in class Tuesday?

Randle will be a back up and play situationally similar to Perriloux in 07 IMO. After Mett graduates, if he has developed enough, I could see him starting.
But don't worry, he isn't the second coming of JJ.
Personally, I'm not worried, and from what I've heard about his talent, I don't think he's the second coming of JJ at all. Time will tell. He's got a much greater chance being good as, IMO, he's got a much better coach guiding his progress than either JL or JJ did over most of their careers.
I simply find it amusing how so many Rantards are worried about him, because being 'mobile' = 'having a noodle for an arm'. I find it equally amusing how other Rantards are hugely high on him and are complaining about him being 'shep'd' before 1) he's actually 'shep'd' and 2) they've actually seen him play.

If this kid strolls into Lockett tomorrow, and sits down in freshman calculus, Chicken is going to be picking up pieces of server all day.

The team meeting had nothing at all to do with recruiting or Gunner in any fashion. First workouts start tomorrow at 6 am. It was just a general meeting with all the guys back on campus after winter break. Coach Kelly said some areas he personally wants to improve on and areas he wants to see the team improve. Nothing out of the ordinary.
ETA: I'll probably know around 9 am tomorrow if Gunner was at the workout, but by that point, I'm sure the rest of the world will know, as well.

I told my top hamster crew to report to work at 7am tomorrow. I briefed them on the situation. They are professionals. They will be ready.

I agree.......Miles screwed us......Why would a pro style QB want to come to LSU.........
Geez..... some of you idiots are so quick to run to the nearest bridge and jump.
Even if, and he still may, comes to LSU, he sure wouldn't play this year. You can lay money on that.
