The thing is, I somewhat agree with you. I think Bama and LSU's classes are more like 1a and 1b.

Everybody knows those recruiting sites, especially Rivals, jacks with the stars that bama has based on whether they commit to bama or not. It's a joke.

One of the best non-LSU posters on the RB.

I agree with most everything including the QB situation. Miles should be learning from past Heisman winners that a Freshman can compete and win at the highest level. I would rather have best QB from Spring practices on the field early in the season in preparation for the SEC battles. Problem with that (maybe) is we play very capable Wisconsin team the 1st game of the season. We will need to get offensive production to win the game. Defense is not going to shut them out but they may come close....

Both Heisman winners were redshirt sophomores.

All I know is that a lot of folks are going to write LSU off this season due to the loss of some very productive players and breaking in a new QB. But, seeing some of our guys develop over the last part of the season (DBs especially) and the new influx of talent, this is going to be a team that surprises a lot of people. It's good to be a Tiger.

This is the set-up year. If we can develop solid OL and DL for 2015, we have the skill players to win it all in 2015 or 2016.

I'm not writing us off for 2014, yet, but I need to see the passing attack for 3 games before I start to feel really good about it.

(Heck, maybe not - Auburn can't pass as well many high schools.)

Shame I missed signing day. I was taking a break.

Man, I tell you what. There were alot of people cheering and raising hell about LSU landing the top #1 (247) in Texas the other day. Then Oklahoma and Illinois. I'm just saying. Then I saw that post where someone was complaining about Louisiana kids leaving the state.

Just be happy with our solid #2 class! It took the gumps signing arguably the strongest class in history, but I'll take the class our guys put together any year!

With what we got now, along with the class we just signed and next year looking very stout, and the coordinators we've got in place, we should take some pride in where we're at, and where we're going!

Alabamey got the Number 1 class. I concede that. It seems every top recruit wants to go there. But it don't mean shite. They have to translate that talent over to the football field where it really counts.

There are still idiots here starting threads complaining.

I hate people like that with a passion.

LSU kicked arse this year!
