His HS ranking was solid. I think it depends on how the staff feels about Guillory and Hill. We should have them along with Maason and Wingo next year. I think we need to focus on getting some young DTs, we need to keep Reed and grab another good one

This year and next LSU can take over 25. If he wants to play for CBK then he is a take. Part of over 25 is going to be transfers. I think CB RB OL are top 3 positions but interior DL is always a take.

Guillory has been very underwhelming.

Never hurts to have some DL depth. Reading through some articles on his decision. Sort of a hard luck deal for him. He's a bit undersized at 6-1 280 and the ND staff wanted some more meat after they felt like the DL got pushed around against Marshall. His playing time dwindled and his replacements have played well enough that he's the odd man out.

Any quality DT in the portal is worth a take. Thin there next season, especially if Roy jumps to the nfl.

I thought players weren’t allowed to enter the portal during the season. Didn’t the NCAA just pass something to that effect in the last month or so?

I think you can enter whenever you want, but it's only active for transfers during a certain period.

Great kid. Great family. His dad is a good friend of mine. I’d bet he ends up at Western Kentucky. His brother went to Army.

I’d love to have him, but I doubt a rotational piece guy with 2 years left is what this staff is looking for, or what he is looking for either. Seems he would be what tremond shorts has turned out to be for us: play if a couple guys get hurt

Solid PFF grades this year and last in rotational duty

He could be a good rotational piece here next year with Smith, Wingo, Guillory and himself. Not sure sure we can trust Langston to step up and just not sure about Hill either.

Roy has been MIA this season. Unless ive missed it, his name hasn’t come up very much or at all during the 1st 5 games.

So if that keeps up he’ll be back next year to try & put some better film out for NFL scouts.

High character kid who leaves with an ND degree. Seems his main aim is to find somewhere where he'll be a starter so I suspect being a rotational piece at another big P5 school is a less likely outcome than playing more regularly at a slightly lower level.

Yeah if he wanted to be a rotational piece he can stay there. A place like VANDY may be an opportunity match.
