Excuse me? Others are bringing race into this... they've said clearly about black coaches...not once mentioned Peveto fired, Les fired...why is it this boycott is only happening when a black coach from Nola is refrickingassigned...not even fired? It's fricking comical and pathetic, but that's just my opinion

Maybe there is more to it than that; just MAYBE

Maybe, he was out recruiting and representing to his network and former co-workers that he would be there to coach their kids

Maybe, his wife was sick and if negatively impacted his recruiting efforts and he thought he should be given another chance

Maybe, people felt the decision to fire him was made in advance of using his relationships to get recruits out of NOLA

I simply choose to try to see both sides of a situation and figure out how to move forward. It makes life easier, but you can also assume everything is about race and scream at the other side.

What I asked 5A and Cousin are what can be done to amend this? I don't know, but belittling NOLA coaches on the internet isn't the answer.

There is a common denominator here. Think about it.

Something is not adding up. If Juluke's wife is that sick and he was having problems doing his job, why did Texas Tech hire him for a second time? Especially after he left them two weeks after the first hire to come to LSU. Somebody is lying, and this is not a good situation.

Maybe a select few coaches will bitch but hardly all NO coaches will react like a spoiled child.

I suppose Mickey Joseph is not good enough to work the NO area?

They do not care about any body but themselves...it's all to familiar narrative...they don't like this (you fix it), they don't like that (you fix it), well that's not good enough...........that's why they been at the same high school for 15 years....

cry, cry, ....it's LSU's fault...if not Jaluke, fill in another name_______. would not matter!!

Some of you old boys cant see pass your nose. The dubious firing of these coaches definitely sends a message to black coaches on LSU staff.. you must be "twice as good".

BDP was arguably "twice as good" as Juluke at his job, and he still got canned for under-performing. Get outta here with that shite.

Then you are standing by some childish, petty, backwards, and just plain stupid arse bullshite. Adult coaches acting like a bunch of fricking 13 year old girls with this trumped up drama.

Juluke got fired because he didn't deliver. Period.

Northern Louisiana recruiting looks bad.

Baton Rouge recruiting looks bad

Now New Orleans as well....anyone that remembers the 70's 80's and 90's recruiting knows how that will turn out.

Fix this immediately!!!!!

One thing we know about O is that he has been able to control the narrative with the local media pretty well. If he gets ahead of this and public opinion swings in his favor, the principals of these schools and their boards will shut this bullshite down with the quickness. It's all about who gets the PR upper hand right now.

Coach O knows what he is doing. This is why he met with the black mayor of Monroe a few wks ago. Said mayor supposedly plays a big role in area high school athletics & Coach O knows his support for LSU will go a long ways. You may not like him as a HC but he knows recruiting inside & out, especially La. high school football.

So it's a racial issue because they were black coaches removed by Orgeron, who happens to be white(or caucasian coonass). Orgeron goes and hires two more black coaches to replace them. This is typical race baiting. Take this BS out of here. Your intitled agenda is not welcome.

Another strong arm to force a hire. First the NFL has become a joke. That being Goodell with his fronting BS. Now it is creeping into college. People watch sports to escape daily crap like politics. The NFL is destroying the golden goose(that being the fans) and the NCAA will follow.

Good work. I know this is suggesting more work for you but any way to show how many recruits we offered from NOLA but missed on?

A handful that come to mind are Joe McKnight, Kenny Young, Sylve (NOLA area?), Noil.
