Nebraska fans were SOOOO sure he was sticking with Nebraska.

No they weren't.

They were pretty excited when Debo said he was solid to Nebraska after Raymond visited him the other night.

I hope the kid does well at LSU, but the way he went about it is beyond trashy.

Uhh, yeah. Tell your lead recruiter at the school you are committed to that you are "solid", and then two days later switch your commitment.

Be a man about it and say "I'm still up in the the air, we'll see what happens after Coach Miles visits me."

I'm not mad he switched. It was a given once LSU offered and I have no issues with that. Just the way he went about it is garbage.

How do you know he told Nebraska coaches that? He may have told it to rivals or scout.com, but I dont think anyone knows for sure what recruits tell coaches, other than those directly involved.

Also, things change really fast in recruiting.

If you think Jones' recruitment was handled poorly, you haven't been following recruiting very long.

Not going to say it's the worst way a recruit has ever handled a commitment by any means.

And who knows? I'm just going by what Jones supposedly said after Raymond visited.

And if he didn't really say that, then I'll own up to that.

By the time he plays, what weight do you think he will play at?

He looks like he's going to gain weight exactly how the CHavis LB's of old. He'll probably end up around 225/235 by his senior year.

The Nebraska people knew it was coming. They had hope and got a little excited after the Nebraska coaches visited him but most reasonable Nebraska fans read the tealeaves and assumed he'd be at LSU in the end. A lot of Nebraska people basically gave up the night the offer went public.

I think the way you are handling his LSU commitment is abysmal.

My son is a senior at Jesuit and a friend of Debo's. He is an outstanding young man. Good student, great guy. What a terrific addition.
