If Waters stays healthy and has the kind of year we all think he will, I think he may leave after next season.
The only problem we have now is he used his one chance even though he didn't get an invite, so the next time he puts his name in, it's for good
You know , I wondered if he was aware of the rule. Certainly someone at LSU must have told him what his options would be if he declared .

LMFAO Dude, what does Ben, Naz and Emmitt have to do with Cassius Stanly's interest in LSU?

I'm certain Wade has...to all of the players. A coach that detailed oriented isn't going to skip that big of a detail.
Waters has probably already decided he's leaving after next season. Regardless of how it turns out. His testing the waters (no pun intended) was just to (a) get feedback on what he needs to improve and (b) see if there was really a chance he might get drafted now.
He's likely not getting any taller no matter if he stays 2 or 4 years at LSU, so that will always be an issue. So he's going to try to strike when his stock may be highest and soon as he can.

there is no way in hell Waters plays in the NBA now, if ever. Watch what happens next year in the nba when Tre has to guard a post-upped man. That will give you an idea what Tremont faces.

post-upped man.
What?

I think he’s trying to say Waters would struggle in the NBA because bigger guard would post him up...

There are small guards who are successful in the NBA. Size definitely makes it harder, but is not an excluding factor.

Almost every small one is a liability on offense, but elite scorers. I wouldn’t call waters an elite scorer yet. His SEC numbers were very average as far as shooting percentage and what not

I’m with you. It’s a tough row.
Just that him being small doesn’t mean he will fail.
People are saying there is NO WAY he can make it. That’s just not true.

He could, but he’s not a 1 and done talent. He needs to add weight and get consistency in order to be useful to a team

They're pushing for a decision from him

Emmitt Matthews to West Virginia

I liked him, but there’s a ton of better wings in the ‘19 class we are on and Taylor took the immediate need away

We are pushing hard for Parker Braun Accorfing to Billy Embody we are go to push for in the next 24-48 hours if nothing happens we will move on

Like that recruiting style in this case. Get on board or move on.

Looking at Twitter, it seems as if Braun is set to take a visit to Illinois next weekend. Not sure what to read into that (if anything). Hope somehow we can lock him in before, cause I think he’d be a nice 4 year guy with some upside to smooth out his roster.

Any news on Braun?
Visits Illinois tomorrow or Wednesday, and might have a decision after that.
