Why do we have 'edukated_fan' and 'johnartherb15' suddenly show up (one with 4 posts and the other with 36 posts) with rumors on Brennan going to flip to Ole Miss and 'the news in Jackson' that Cam is between Ohio State and Ole Miss and his uncle wants him to go to Ole Miss. Also, that Jacoby's recruitment was a mess.
If it is rumors and not substantive information-------Why post the rumors on an LSU recruiting board?

My son plays for SSC and I have watched him for going on 4 years now. Was at the game last night as well. He looks more polished this year, better decisions, knows where he wants to go with the ball, but is making 2nd and 3rd progressions if 1st option not there. As far as someone saying he doesn't have zip on the ball, thats a joke. He doesn't rocket every pass because as we all know there are different types of throws for each situation. When he has to let one fly, he does...and it gets there in a hurry. 430 yards, 5 TDS, ZERO turnovers not too shabby. As for the Ole Miss rumors, I don't see it. Stanislaus coach has installed a good amount of under center plays for two reasons..to make their offense more diverse AND to give Brennan a better comfort level to more readily transition to LSU"S more pro style offense.

Thank you rebelsaint for your intelligent injection into what has become a very boring site as of late...I too graduated from "The School of Character(s)" back in the 60's...glad to know that the "Brothers" are putting out educated and quality students...btw, anyone that says MB's arm is suspect is a complete fool!

The rumor will always be there because he's from MS. He's an EE so let's just hope he holds on.

The gulf coast is mostly LSU, with a decent amount of Bama fans, then State and OM. Except for Stanislaus, those preppy boys like OM. 21 out of 85 guys from my class went to OM.
Once again, Brennan is not to be worried about. Only way he won't be here is if the coaches pull his offer, and does anyone seeing that happening???

I see more people on the coast wearing Bama gear than any other team. It wasn't like that years ago.

Lots of band wagon fans for the flavor of the month team. I remember I used to see a lot of people in South LA wearing Miami gear in the early 2000s. It happens.

First of all to say Brennan has no zip on the ball debunks your name as an educated fan. Secondly he threw for over 100 yards to 3 different receivers last night. He threw td passes to 4 different recievers so to say he wasn't looking off the first reciever or he did not go deep into his progression is ridiculous. He was so poised last night it was obvious he has been playing at a high level all summer with the elite11crowd. As far as the deep ball, he is missing his deep threat who graduated last year so you take what they give you. And that was to pick apart the defense 10, 15, 25yds shots at a time. Lastly he is a TIGER!!! Write it down and don't doubt it. I know him and it would take the entire LSU coaching being fired for him to even think about any other school...
