I'm really tired of hearing about this kid and it's a year away.

Honestly hate it when any high school athlete transfers to a business for their senior year. Where's the loyalty to your brothers. Bye

I'm not sour on LSU. I'm just being realistic. The purple and gold glass wearing sunshine pumpers were ridiculous when the kid committed in the 8th grade.

having a chance to play on a national stage for his Senior year against other elite talent is very tempting for a highly regarded national recruit

These guys don't play anyone elite because no one wants to play them. Why would you?

Well, don't see him going to LSU now. This would be the last straw. A shame he's going to abandon his HS teammates like that.

ETA: My opinion. Not sources.

They end in top 10 in nation for a reason, but I agree not a whole lot of schools want to take the risk to play them.

He's ticked at the fanbase obviously right now as well.

For what? The fanbase has been the way it is right now for about a decade. I would prefer and respect him more if he just came out and said he will not go to LSU instead of making negative generalizations about an entire fanbase.

Tremendous opportunity

I agree with you, but maybe just maybe he still considers LSU heavily

Doubt it. Since he decomitted in August things have gone sour it seems. Has that Landon Collins feel to it.

Proud for him to be expanding his football training for the next year. This isn't a nail in the coffin against LSU, this is a kid going to learn and train in what he feels is the best environment. He'll still be recruited heavily and maybe he will decide to stay closer to home

My .02 is this is great for LSU! He'll be an early enrollee which means he'll end his recruitment early and I would think you're more apt at that point to go where you are MOST COMFORTABLE (since you don't have the rest of the spring semester and part of summer to adjust to the thought of going off)! And his commitment would obviously have a tidal wave effect on other recruits for LSU. RELAX! He'll be a tiger...it's what he knows and what his family wants. Of course if he picks Bama over LSU we can always blame the fans making $35,000/yr at their shite job making innocuous comments on a fan website instead of the $4 million coach who has not beaten that Bama squad since the kid has been in high school.

As has been posted a million times before....we have no idea what "fans" are posting anything. This is an anonymous message board.

The young MAN has every right to pursue his path. Good luck to him. He and Coach Miles are close. I think he will be a Tiger.

totally agree. The kid is responding to the opportunity. The opportunity, however, was created on a bull shite premise that my kid is better than yours so he needs to play at a different level.

How about let your kid be part of a team where there are strengthens and weaknesses, and the TEAM compensates for that. IMO that is where character is refined, which last a lifetime unlike football.

right, it looks like a lot of the "fans" making the negative posts about him are Bama alters. Notice the low post counts and fairly recent sign up dates for a lot of them and contrived screen names (i.e.: cajunpowa). Other ones are the big time negatators who just want to see Mile fired. I wish the admins would weed out at least the obvious ones who post on here especially on the recruiting board. Especially when you have recruits that occasionally may read this stuff, but since they don't constantly read it like we do, they don't get these peoples real motives. They take this as being a representation of the fan base and think why in the hell would I want to play in front these people.
