O needs to show that LSU can consistently produce SEC level QBs and he should be very interested in coming.

Very much this. If LSU can compete for championships and put qb's in the NFL, nobody will give a shite about how Archie felt about LSU in the 60's.

I don’t think anyone from the Archie Manning family tree will ever play for LSU. Archie hates LSU. LSU poured it on in Archie’s senior year. He played with a cast on his arm. The Tigers showed no mercy and beat the Rebs silly at 61-17.

Not disagreeing with you on the Archie hatred part. But i don't feel bad for LSU not taking mercy on another SEC opponent. Allowing 61 sounds like a defensive problem

He will mostly end up at Duke not Ole Miss. Watch and see.

He’s just going to be a freshman, lots of things can change in 4 years.

I’m sure Uncle Eli will have a thing or two to say about Odell

The LSU faithful weren’t very kind to Archie when he came to LSU as an Ole Miss QB. Deservedly do, IMO

Of course LSU is probably a longshot but I don’t see His grandpa telling him where he can’t go.

While we're at it, might as well offer the Brees kids too.

F@#k that. I want him in purple and gold. He’s going to be great you watch. You know Payton and Eli are coaching him. Payton greatest QB and Eli a two time SB winner. He can’t fail as a college prospect

Maybe the new basketball coach, Randy Livingston, can teach him about being a Tiger.

Haha you’re 100% right.

Let’s hope he sees Odell as the superstar and Eli as just the uncle

Yeah, they don't seem like the type to forbid one of their kids from doing something.

Archie wouldn’t let his kid play for the Chargers

Archie's dad saw him play his sophomore season at Ole Miss. He didn't commit suicide until shortly before Archie's junior season.

I don't think Archie would tell his grandson where to go to school when he didn't even do that with his own son, but you have to remember that Arch is Cooper's son, and Cooper absolutely detests LSU. It would be very, very surprising if his son played for LSU.

LSU should do everything they can to mend any perceived sleights and get the Mannings on board.

There are no sleights. LSU could have had Peyton and Eli had they had a decent coaching staff. Instead it was a clown show, and Archie wisely sent his sons where they could get professional coaching to train for the NFL.

The Mannings are businessmen. If LSU has a stable coaching situation with top-notch offensive coordination in a scheme that fits Arch he will likely go to LSU.
