FOOTAGE

LINK

quote:

Arch Manning, grandson of Archie Manning, nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning, son of Cooper Manning, is still in eighth grade but played in a scrimmage Friday with the varsity team at Isidore Newman School, where his dad and both uncles also played their high school football.

The footage is impressive. Arch Manning looks like, well, a Manning. He has good accuracy, seems to command the offense well, and has mobility more reminiscent of his grandpa than his uncles.

Is he the one that said ‘LSU!’ when they asked his favorite team in “The Book of Manning” special on SEC-Net?

Unlike David Sills, I feel like he's a safe bet to be a pretty damn good QB to earn an early offer

Ole Miss is where he will most likely end up, not getting too excited over this one

Look at the player, not the last name.

Yea the Manning last name is pretty solid. 3 Mannings (Archie, Eli, Peyton) =ALL Americans, all 3 QB's were picked #1 in the draft. 4 Superbowls. If I had to bet on a last name its this one.

Did you mean Duke??? Because that’s where Cutcliffe is now, if you weren’t paying attention.

Cutcliffe ==> Tennessee <== Peyton

Cutcliffe ==> Ole Miss <== Eli

Cutcliffe ==> Duke <== Arch???

Archie wasn’t the first pick in the draft.

Archie Manning has something against LSU. I forgot the backstory on that.

He's an Ole Miss alum. That's enough to hate LSU.

He was the 2nd pick. Not like he was WAY off.

not that it will change the effect, but I think Arch is Cooper's son.

The only reason he went to Ole Miss is because his family was in debt and about to lose the farm to the bank. Guess where the bank owner was a graduate from? And all of a sudden the Mannings money problems went away.
