That's good to hear. The word out of the visit is that we didn't make up ground on A&M and Bama. So O visiting makes it seems like that word was exaggerated.

My guess is he’s already committed to Bama.
You don’t get that many CB’s to a school this late in the game and before other visits are taken if he’s not committed to that school or 100% believe he did.
I’m also seeing these same people put in CB’s for the current Bama DT commit Jones to Oregon or cloudy.
So Bama must be pushing him out of the class for Jackson.
Now, proceed to tell me how CB’s aren’t a sign or indicative of anything...

According to his 247 page he is taking his OV to TAMU this weekend. I would guess Jimbo is going all-in on the last weekend. Tbh if not LSU I'd rather him end up at TAMU than Bama.

Is it just me or does it seem like the Mississippi kids always have baggage like handlers being open about wanting compensation? Leo Lewis took the cake but there have been other kids from MS that have come with problems. I remember the Moore kid DL from last class. Still, I really hope we can land Jackson he is one hell of a talent. It wouldn’t shock me if he ends up the best players out of Roy, Burch, Guillory and himself and it also wouldn’t shock me if he busted like Ish Sophser seems to be doing.

So basically the Jackson ship has pretty much sailed, right Vol? When the handler is a gump they rarely lose. Where is this kids parents in all this? Are they aligned with his handler? I’d think a parent would tell that guy to get lost since he’s obviously just looking for a quick buck.

I think it's a coach he's had a relationship with for a while. Back when he was committed to us, we started to hear about the people around him being big Alabama fans.
I doubt Jackson, or his parents, have too big of a problem with the guy. He's just helping them navigate the recruiting process. It's not very lucrative to commit to a school as a sophomore and stay committed the whole time.

Or not. I take O as someone who just doesn’t take no for the 1st answer (or 2nd, 3rd, ...etc)
