MBB Offseason '26 Transfer Portal / HS Tracker
Thanks sham. If CMM gets a sun belt, southland job, I expect a few of these players to follow. But if cww wants you to stay, stay. No clue on gilhool.
I expected him to play this year and shoot from the perimeter, and little purpose around the block. But other than Reed and Reece, I dont see anyone else returning. Nwoko\miller I’m sure got interviews but may look elsewhere.
No clue if cww recruits any freshman.

I liked Mosely in what little we saw. 3 and D potential.

Name to watch for LSU is Tylik Weeks out of Southern Miss. Last year averaged 19.7 ppg, 5.4 rpg, and 2.3 apg. Was a 1st Team All Sun Belt selection, as well as brings a lot of versatility at 6-8 but rangey and skinny enough to be positionless a player I think Wade will like. Also he has Juco roots which CWW loves and recruited his first two years at LSU, McNeese and NCSU.

McMahon told his players that once they declare for the portal, goodbye. no return. this seems stupid.
wade, being above all a player advocate, almost surely wants players to test their value in free agency and is happy to have them back if he can get them for decent value.

Under utilized by McMahon bigly imo. Was a dark horse for me I was hoping would stay.

You make a really good point. Wade is similar to Bob Huggins. The rub with Huggins at Cincy (and later WVU) was that he always relied on JUCO transfers, but the reality is that he knew how to build rosters. Cincy was always a name to watch in March because of it. Can't recall how coaching styles matched up, but I would love to be a modern day Cincinnati...but win one.

There will be stiff competition but this dude would be a massive addition. Think a more athletic and aggressive Bigby-Williams.

Some names to put on yall's radar that NC state insiders were talking about before Wade left:
Bassala Bagayako- Played in the same league as Thjis De Ridder, Virginia's best player this season, and was told he was basically a done deal to NC state before Wade left.
LINK
PJ Haggerty- Wade wanted to circle back on this one after almost reeling him in last offseason at NC State. LINK
Allen Graves- Pretty popular name around here but apparently he's been on Wade's radar. LINK

Good work!
It will be interesting to see how Wade constructs this roster. Reading between the lines after NC State's season ending loss, and watching the team mostly collapse during the second half of ACC play, one gets the sense there were some roster issues at NC State. Maybe too many people who wanted to be "the man", and not enough role players.
Graves to LSU makes too much sense unless he simply wants to stay at Santa Clara, or doesn't want to come back to LA. Marshall wasn't just a seldom used walk-on at LSU. He played in some pretty big spots. Most notably, 7 minutes in the 2019 Tennessee game everyone remembers

Marshall Also had 12 pts with 4 threes against Vanderbilt that year too
And he scored 5 pts against Georgia with a 3 on senior night in 2020
Eta also hit a big shot against A&M in his senior year as well

Still randomly think of the video of Marshall and young Allen hooping on vacation with Michael Jordan.

I think we get Able from Nc State.
And hopefully Amir Khan from McNeese!
I want one of these McDonald’s all Americans that are committed to Arkansas.

Hope you're right about Able, though NC State people reported he was going to transfer from NC State following this season before Will Wade left.

I’ve been following the NCSt twitter pretty closely last few weeks since any Wade-LSU speculation emerged. The long-standing sentiment appears to be that Able and Wade weren’t that close or possibly on the outs. I’ve read speculation linking him to Miami. With that being said, it appears Wade has a good relationship with Paul McNeil Jr. the NCSt fans want him to stick around and believe that that’s possible, especially considering he’s from NC, but there is some worry he may follow Wade instead.
