It was hilarious when Patrick (then a Jones assistant) had to reach out to him to tell him to quit spilling the beans on here about who they were recruiting. He came here one day saying he was on campus and saw DP walking around with a tall white guy with Australia gear. Turned out to be Darcy Malone.
He ended up working for rivals for a little while.

Thomas would be so opposite of anything we have had at PG. He is a huge piece, then guys will want to play with him. He has to be priority #1

Donovan Dent to UCLA so maybe that takes them out with Thomas. Florida was a finalist for him out of hs so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

If we get a guy with the exact numbers and style of play as Chest the same people whining about him leaving would melt. He is a decent player with definite potential but to call him a good player at this point is a stretch. Also because that is a list he has heard from doesn’t mean any of them have offered. He could end up being a big loss but that remains to be seen as far as on the court play

Chest would be entering his third year in the program. He and V. Miller would be on everyone's "breakout player" lists. Having Chest, Miller, and Reed as returning potential starters makes it much easier to build out the roster through the portal.

Does anyone really expect McBeta to out recruit the likes of Kansas, Baylor, UCONN etc. for these guys?
