A) can’t say we are not active in the portal
B) we are offering anyone and everyone and it looks pathetic and like we have no goddamn cluewhat we want

Ppl call me “pro Mcmahon”…I am not. I understand reality and everyone in their soul knows the admins have not given us a chance. We have MAYBE 1 G league player…roster talent was a huge issue.

But if they are opening up the checkbooks, and some of these mother frickers are the answer, fire him before June.we have a serious identifying problem. These CANNOT be the solution. Portal is open for 1 month and I expect some hope

Dude relax, contacting someone out of the portal doesn’t mean we are automatically offering them a blank check

LSU, along with a number of other programs, contact a LOT of players in the portal. I would guess that some of these contacts may be to check on a teammate that hasn't hit the portal yet.

LSU in play for Donovan Atwell, transfer from UNCG per Jamie Shaw. Will add to the list. Really good shooter

Reed is NOT “Very” good. He got better but still not a guy that can carry a team.

I want to believe he can be the coach for LSU but am beginning to believe he is not a P5 coach. Smaller conference seems to be a more comfortable fit for his skin.

This kid is interesting. Ended the season on a heater. 42% from 3. Worth a look.

For two years Reed was a solid, but inconsistent player. You saw flashes of great play, which then quickly disappeared into moments of complete disinterest. Even this season you saw the inconsistency. Great game in the opener, non-factor in the next 3, then really good tournament in West Virginia. Was he poised to have a breakout season in SEC play? Maybe. But there was NOTHING in his prior history to suggest that was a certainty. Definitely not enough to blame his loss as the falling domino that turned a what would have been very good season into an awful season. However, if you are always looking for an excuse to absolve the HC of any blame that created a convenient one.

Assuming he returns next season (and there is no indication right now that he won't), he's going to be a guy with two years of game experience coming off a serious knee injury. It's unfair to expect him to come out and be the cornerstone of the team some, evidently, swore he would have been had he not been injured. Yet those who have taken that position have backed themselves into a bit of a corner.

It’s true WHY!?!! would any “good b-ball player with SEC talent much less Elite talent come to LSU to play for McLoser and company. We will overpay for Mid or DII talent that averages 20ppg where they’re at now and dwindle to 4.3 as soon as the ball jumps.

Can’t wait for McMahon to amass a bunch of underwhelming talent that probably won’t even be on this roster this time next year. Great dude but absolutely pathetic by the LSU admin that he’s still employed here.
