Do we have a backup plan if we don't land Sutton? How are we feeling about him? Saw he's been getting linked to Nebraska more and more recently.

They better get 2 more starter types.

V Miller looked very good for a freshman. He could create and he has a good looking shot. I think he will be a very high level player. I wish they would convince him to return. I think we’ll miss him more than anyone else.

The link says Honor Huff is 5’10”, 162 pounds. I wonder if that size would hinder his ability to hit threes in the SEC. I haven’t seen him play, but I suspect it could be a problem

In other news, A&M is gearing up for Bucky Ball. That’ll be interesting to see how the Aggies’ identity changes with a new coach

Come on man…he is 5’10…did we learn nothing with Juice and Sears? We should not entertain this

But yea i doubt he’s on our radar. Need a 6-6ish swing man with those numbers.

Definitely would have been on LSU’s radar next year. It will be interesting to see the candidates left once the current waste of time is over

I would have liked Givens

Ik I'm super late, but Givens is 100% staying. His GF is going to LSU next year (per his IG story)

jordan sears averaged 22 5 5 and 1 before coming here and was in the 98th percentile for catch and shoot 3pt%

guards come here to die. mcmahon does not know how to coach guards properly

Ok so you are doubting the coach. That’s fine. But this is about discussing the transfer portal. It is not about the coach. I asked why people dislike our transfers. I watched about 45 mins worth of youtube last night and I really like these pieces. I ask why we don’t like them…

Because we think the coach sucks. Ok, but that is a completely different argument

Our recruiting/portal has been good under MM bar the first year.

The players we get are good... they just come here and play like shite because MM is a shite coach.

This… I hate to hammer the S&C narrative again as well, but the guys he’s recruited are either way too finesse/soft, or we are missing the mark big time in off-season training. Our teams have not had “dudes” on them at all. Hell Tre’Dez Green and Chest are the closest thing he’s had to guys like that, but I’m not sure Green even counts. Seriously, watch the natty on Monday night and look at those players physicality vs what we’ve had. It’s not even close

You’re 100% right, Darth. We looked absolutely tiny next to every other SEC team. We had no size (bulk) and strength, and we paid for that deficiency by getting our nose blooded down low on offense and defense. We’ve got to be able to sign “men” if we hope to compete in this league. It’s a very physical league, so obtaining bangers is a must.

I really hope we add some beef to the non conference schedule as well. Get a couple high(er) profile opps whether it’s home/away/neutral, but especially try and go for a couple more interesting home games in lieu of swac level opposition.

McMahon’s offseason scheduling has been Trent Johnson levels of bad, maybe even worse.
