He made the all name team for 2025.

Name of the year was jizzle James.

If he came to LSU and didn’t develop into an NBA talent he could always open a restaurant off campus and simply call it… “Po’Boigh King”! Surely the name alone would make him a fan favorite.

This is my problem with CMM

We don’t need 13 dudes who can play. I feel like the bigs returning and Nwoko, plus Thomas and King, with Givens back and Reece/Mosley (I think reece can contribute a tad but not Mosley)….we need one more high level guard. That’s it.

We are about to be in the situation again where a guy plays 25 minutes one game then won’t play 3 games totaling 25 minutes. We need 9 guys…9 guys to win. No team ever goes 12 deep and wins a meaningful game. This is what I am so frustrated with mcmahon. I am losing more and more faith. Kids need structure. Them not knowing whether they will play 5 or 25 minutes is a HUGE problem.

He doesn't handle his rosters well but he might just be trying to stack talent. Better to have too much than not enough. He needs to get some shooters though.

Don’t have any info on Sutton. His last zoom call with Nebraska was today so I’m thinking he commits at some point this week unless he plans on more visits after the dead period.

Trilly believes the Simpkins twins are next to pop for us. I believe their visit was finishing up today.

Be on the lookout for Solomon Washington A&M transfer a lot of people thinks he’s following buzz to Maryland but I’ve been told he could be making a return home by the same source that called the rashad king visit/commitment. Washington’s from New Orleans and entered the portal with a do not contact tag

Until we do and overall guard play improves, I’ll remain skeptical. Thomas should help a lot with the latter but man we need a couple guys that can hit open shots. I hate seeing us linked with guards then the stats show them shooting 32% or worse.

I agree that we need to find eight, nine at most to put on the court. Too many makes it difficult to find roles and rhythm.

The last thing we need is to load our roster full of 13 guys who all mostly do the same things. I kind think that was a major problem this year, one of many

Looks like a good scorer but not a very good defender. CMM trying to get the 23-24 Elon team back together in BR

ETA: he played at Elon with the Simpkins twins before transferring to Portland.

41% is good, but he didn’t take a ton of 3’ (except for a handful of games). He really did a lot more work as a crafty scorer getting points at the rim (like a lot of Australian player). Rebounding numbers were good too. Defense…not so much.

Rating Patrick’s Australian LSU players, he’s not as good as Simmons. Much better than Darcy Malone

I was hoping we’d get him. I’d like another shooter or 3/D guy. Hopefully this guy can be a middle class version of Dell’Orso for Arizona. Below average defender but a pretty good shooter you can’t leave open, which of course helps spacing.

He is an all around scorer but clearly can shoot. His role here will be too spread the floor. I love a good role player, and I expect him to put up a few thousand 3-point shots until fall camp hits

I know, for some unknown reason to me, people didn’t hate Dji Bailey…but he came here as a below average to minimal scorer and was supposed to be a “shutdown defender”. Dude was horrendous on offense and stopped no one he guarded all season. Give me some guys we know at least do something and have a purpose

On top of that…the difference between this transfer class and last is wild. I am trying not to get too hyped

He is exactly the type of player we needed. Wish he was a bit taller, but can't sneeze at 40%+ 3 pt and 89% ft.

Would like a nice 6'9" long armed small forward who can hit from outside as well as defend. I am sure they just grow on trees, right?

True. And the other 6'6" guy would be a good guard too. But we needed 3pt shooters at the 2 or 3. Still would like a traditional 3. See my post above. 6'9" with long arms, good outside shot, and lock down defense shouldn't be too much to ask, right.
