How old was he when he signed with Bama?

Many LSU fans fail to realize that many Louisiana high school football players go to Alabama because they have a better chance of playing. Believe it or not, Alabama has holes in their line up, just like LSU. Sometimes even more. From my view LSU has been out talented by Alabama only twice in the past ten years. Most of LSU's loses to Bama has been because of coaching, and QBing. Don't forget, and many of our fans, and all of the Bama fans seem to forget, LSU had Bama beaten two other games during this stretch. My point is Shy Carter does not hit the field with LSU. Trust me, Patrick Surtain would have never started for LSU as a freshman. Weaker players like Carter are hidden by all the surrounding talent on defense at Alabama. Remember, Alabama has holes too, and right now I believe the Bayou Bengals make it two in a row over Saban. This LSU team is loaded.

Listen, some of these guys may have spurned LSU, but not everyone is gonna choose LSU because they are from LA. That's just how it is, but I'm not gonna root for their downfall even though I'm a LSU fan. I wish them all well in going through the rigors of making an NFL team.

He was a grown arse 18 year old man with a kid when he signed with Bama. And again, he was about the same age as me when that happened. I’m so tired of weird arse people like you pretending that grown men are children because you want to sound enlightened and be on your soapbox. Piss off

Your view is a very foolish one. By every measure, Alabama has had far more talent on the field than LSU throughout the last ten years. If you are correct, the NFL scouts surely don’t know their business.
