Look at the AVG NIL on that page. Texas, Alabama (most), Oregon, Michigan and Ohio st are over the $200 K threshold.
LSU has the lowest of the top 10. I dont know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

If you go back to 2002 or so when modern recruiting services started, and take an average of every signed class, LSU comes out to 7th. LSU also has ~ the 7th most wins since then.

Industry we are 9th
Only because they have 23 players to 25 for Auburn and A&M. They’re 6th in average. There really is very little to separate the top 9-10 classes. They all gave 2-3 5* and 14-18 4/5*. LSU’s right in the middle of that range.

2017, one of the best classes in LSU History IMO was 7th

It's a really solid class.

Top 10 class that has met all needs except QB and we were a godfather offer away from landing that one.
2 stud RBs that are both good running and pass catching
2 (hopefully 3) lunch pail WRs that have speed, still waiting on Meadows
Solid in line TE
3 (hopefully 4) OL that give you depth and based on Kelly's press conf. Curne is physically ready to play early and we are waiting on Thomas's decision
5 DL commits all of which looks like potential animals
4 LBs with good speed
2 safeties that are solid and physical
2 stud CBs that are #1 in the country and #1 in LA
We literally met our needs aside from QB and it's looking like there will be a fair bit of portal activity at that position, so we can still fill that void.

I think we are 9th now on this list...not that it really matters...

The % instate is interesting.
I always said we didn’t have an advantage over a Georgia or the Florida teams because of the population size.
43% is what LSU got, but UGA got 74% in state. Florida got 42 and Miami 62.
So good to see LSU is still able to pull some big players from other states because we just have to.

We also have the 3rd highest “blue chip” percentage, behind only Oregon and Georgia. So I’d say we got a hell of a lot of bang for our buck, good value. (Ok, I’m trying to find the silver lining, it’s a solid class.)

LSU is still ranked #7 by On3.
(The OP links to On3; thus, the ranking in the OP body (not title) automatically updates as On3 updates its ranking.)
LSU is #8 on the On3 Industry Ranking which includes Rivals, ESPN, and 247 rankings.

7th ranked recruiting classes get you what we have now, a meaningless bowl game. From top 2 to 7th. Way to hold the class together Kelly

Yes, it has changed throughout the day

Honest question, cause I don't follow recruiting as closely as some of y'all, Is there really a difference between the 4th ranked class and the 7th? The 6th and the 10th?
It really depends a lot on the given year. This year there's a big gap after 5 with 6 to 10 being pretty similar before another significant gap. It's more typical for the gap to be after 3 with the next gap being somewhere in the 7-10 range.

Long as we stay in the top 10 each year, then it comes down to coaching.
